Check out 13:02 of the video, where I shared some findings on the noise levels of this CPU cooler. To me, I felt that the cooler was pretty quiet under heavy CPU workloads!

I'd have to check but in this footage the cooling tower itself looks thinner. Common sense says that less surface area means the cooling performance would be worse. That could just be the footage but it should be easy enough to find dimensions of the cooler and compare
I want the non-RGB version of this cooler, if I can find it for a decent price I'll probably go for it over other options simply for its drooling aesthetics.

my question is...
in this processor
ideal temp is 49 to 55 deggre
and when run normal cpu strees it goes 78 to 90 degree and when i run cinebench r23 it goes 100 deggre temp,
so my question is is that a normal or can i chage something...
bcoz recently i build a pc with all new components so i m confused where can i build a pc right way or not....??
Hey man, it's perfectly normal behaviour for your 13500 to run up to 100 degrees Celsius - Intel's modern processors are designed to run this way especially under synthetic workloads such as Cinebench R23. That said, 78-90 degrees does sound about right for a processor under normal load, I'm assuming you got this temperature range while gaming? How's the airflow in your PC case like?
thanks for the reply....
in gamming i will get 60 to 65 temp... not the 80 to 90
60 to 65 in gamming is that a normal or not...??
by the way
case air flow is quite decent
like
3 front fan is intake
1 single back fan is exhaust
and one fan is in the cooler will also intake from the case front side..
and im thinking to put 120 mm two fans at the top like exhaust possition...
will it work and helps to get lower cpu temp...???
and im trying to put aftermarket cpu bending contact frame bcoz of 12th 13th gen cpu bending problem can i get it for a new cpu or will i wait
plz answer all the question im so confused.....
@@ajay4747x 60-65 degrees Celsius while gaming is a pretty good result, don't worry! You probably don't have to get a contact frame since your temperatures are pretty decent, and it's not like you're using a super high-end processor for overclocking or whatever, so I'd personally just save the money!
That said, no harm adding two 120mm fans on your PC case's top panel, this should further help airflow in your case for sure. Hope this helps!
@@ALKtech thanks for your support....🫠😊
I’m building my fire pc with Ryzen 5 7600 with rtx 4070 will hyper 212 be good ?
A Ryzen 5 7600 will work decent with this Hyper 212 Halo Black!
good review! thanks
does these coolers work with any intel/asus computer?
You'll need to check what model of Intel processor do you have exactly to be sure, but by and large, this cooler will support Intel processors dating back to more than 10 years ago too!
@@ALKtech I just purchased an intel I.7 9700k , should I be in the clear ?
@@ALKtech and my motherboard is a asus b6ma
@@thelowkeyspy Yup this cooler will work with an i7-9700K!
@@ALKtech thank you Man! You just made me a little bit more confident with installing this cooler Thursday on my pc
Can this cooler work properly on a Ryzen 5 7600X or Ryzen 7 7800X3D ?
It should handle a 7600X fine, but for a 7800X3D, I'd look at a beefier cooler with perhaps six heatpipes instead!
@@ALKtech I think im gonna go with an AIO, 360 just to be safe
@@holysinner96 a 360mm AIO will be plenty for a 7800X3D! If you don't have the budget for that, even a 240mm AIO should suffice for a 7800X3D, which is a pretty power efficient chip!
Is it any good for r5 5600 over the time
Yup it's a good match for a Ryzen 5 5600 - I've been using this cooler for my 5600 all this while, no issues whatsoever!
Is this good enough for an i5 13600k?
I'd suggest looking at an air cooler with at least six heat pipes for the 13600K, the Hyper 212 Halo Black in this review would be more well-suited for non-K i5 processors (e.g. 13400, 13500).
How loud is the cooler
Check out 13:02 of the video, where I shared some findings on the noise levels of this CPU cooler. To me, I felt that the cooler was pretty quiet under heavy CPU workloads!
can you change the colors to make it one solid color?
Yes you can! You can do so via your motherboard's RGB software.
Whats the different between this one and the 212 BE RGB?
The Halo Black can be considered an update to the Black Edition - the Halo Black sports a sleeker-looking aesthetic with an aluminium top-plate that obscures the ends of the heat pipes, better mounting/installation hardware, and a new MF120 HALO 2 fan (versus the SF120R RGB fan that the Black Edition comes with)!
I'd have to check but in this footage the cooling tower itself looks thinner. Common sense says that less surface area means the cooling performance would be worse. That could just be the footage but it should be easy enough to find dimensions of the cooler and compare
Is that will work with i5 12400f
Yes it'll work well with a 12400F!
I want the non-RGB version of this cooler, if I can find it for a decent price I'll probably go for it over other options simply for its drooling aesthetics.
Cooler Master doesn't have a non-RGB variant of the Halo Black as far as I'm aware - you could always swap the fan out for something else that doesn't have RGB lighting!
@@ALKtech You can find it on their official website, I tried to link it but I couldn't. It's the name that creates the confusion in my opinion, couldn't they name it something else other than literally "Hyper 212 Black"?!?!?! lol
I just realized after checking it again right now that it have a slightly different design but I don't think that's enough to dismiss it as the non-RGB variant.
@@illogical1421 oh yes, the "Hyper 212 Black" is quite a new product that just launched a few months back. To make things even more confusing, the "Black" is the successor to the "Hyper 212 Black Edition" - there really is a difference between the "Black" and "Black Edition", said "Black Edition" launched back in 2021 😂
This cooler does better job than the wraith prism and it doesnt sound like a jet engine lol
it doesn't give a second pair of clips !!
Yeah that's one thing I wish Cooler Master had included, a second pair of clips for folks who'd like to install a second fan...
@@ALKtech tbh i dont think the 2nd fan would help significantly, but it will impact heavily in terms of aesthetic for me LOL
@@香噴噴-p6fyeah actually I'd think you'll run into limitations due to the size of the cooling tower, in terms of how much more thermal performance you can get out of it with a second fan...
why is this one so cheap but hyper 212 still expensive?
Which Hyper 212 are you referring to? Cooler Master does make numerous variants of the Hyper 212!
Spec very low not real test
?? He tests with a Ryzen 5 5600 65W TDP. That’s average for AM4 and AM5 cpus.
About 10% of cpu is not covered with thermal paste. You didn't learned your lesson. 😂 Always spread the paste to cover it fully.
I doesnt matter it spreads after the cooler is installed.
Is this good enough for an i5 12400f ?
Yup, it'll be a big step-up from the 12400F's stock cooler!
Its good for amd ryzen 7 5800x?
I'd personally go with something beefier for a 5800X!
@@ALKtech ok thx.
Beacause when play cyberpunk (high setting) or another game, cpu going 85/89 C°.
@@taryk9868 what CPU cooler are you using at the moment? 85°C - 89°C isn't ideal, you should try to upgrade your cooler to something that can lower your CPU temps to maybe 70ish°C if possible!
