Really nice example. Always thought the 71-73 were a bit big but I’d take it over just about any other later generations of mustangs. In a lot of ways from a technical standpoint they were the pinnacle of the first gen to me.

Hey Kevin! My husbands name is Kevin Also. Our Boss did not come from the factory with a rear spoiler. However, my husband and I love the rear spoiler. We did not want to ruin the original rear deck lid, so we bought an aftermarket one, had it painted and installed the rear spoiler on it. We always want to maintain the integrity of the car by making it possible and very easy to put the original rear deck lid back on. I have seen your video of your barn find before and love it. What a great story. How is the restoration coming along?
I don't normally look at videos of these I had a 71 Boss blue with silver wing on the back in 73 wrecked declared totaled in a street race. Thinking back I had a 70 Mach 1 ginger-colored 351 4V Auto ended up selling it for peanuts really the boss I bought from a dealer trade it in a 66 Mustang candy apple red four-speed regular 289 four-barrel loved to have had it back probably wouldn't have gotten a wreck
Trust me! We weren't wearing them because we wanted to. They wouldn't let us into the place unless we had one on. The second we were out of the building they came off!

Trust me! We weren't wearing them because we wanted to. They wouldn't let us into the place unless we had one on. The second we were out of the building they came off!
