My , oh my ! This must be the best Dos games presentation collection video EVER ! I’m saving it in a playlist. So many games with great memories. My hat is off for this.
I never completed Prince of Persia. I finished all three Dark Souls games but P of P is on another level. Games were hard back then. 😢 Great video and great memories. Thanks for that.
I still use several of my dos machines. At the moment I change between my 286 and pentium-II. Those CF2IDE converters are a real pc saver since most of the original drives gave up when years passed by.
31:25 - The arcade version with 3 wheels was the BEST way to play it. I put many quarters in one as a teen! Came across one a few years ago when I took my kids to a skating rink.
I love it when I start a retro gaming video and it's someone European talking about gaming on MS DOS and home computers rather than an American talking about Nintendo and Mario, seems like such a contrast in the lived experiences. I'm Australian and my childhood was all MS DOS, though commodore 64s and amigas were popular among my friends too.
Had a bunch of share ware games on my 90s MS-DOS PC. Duke Nukem Crystal Caves Steller Seven Jill of the Jungle Hugo's House of Horrors Wolfenstein 1 Warcraft 1 and 2 Sharkys Pool Hall Kings Quest 5 Mice Maze
Didn´t you play cyberia? It came in 1994 and it was a masterpiece. It was a nice cyberpunk adventure with lots of puzzles and some well made rain shooter sequences. A great game.
also on stunts if you use the indi car and drive in a tight circle in the center jumping up the hill and down it the game glitches out and you will launch off in to the sky . i used to do that wen i was board as a kid .
@@itsaPIXELthing By the way, there is a very good documentary about the gaming world in Eastern Europe under communism. Little researched area, but very interesting. (Hungarian, but there are English subtitles) th-cam.com/video/YUqn1OPxtmE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=USyVzNfAc30BKaKF
Better than most nowdyas games...pure gameplay, devs were very creative with the limitations they had, without 90% of boring cutcenes, and same repetitive copy past gameplay, f2p, live service and xp.
Good old times of minerva. I remember keepings schools computers up and running, playing lotus, stunts and being the first to install Win95 using floppies. And deleting that bloody elifoot 10s of times from library pc. And later on, mIRC. Before I even had a pc at home. Fun fact, i taught my TI teacher in windows stuff, as he was only trained in electromechanics.
Fantastic list. I know that you didn't cover 1995 but to me one of the biggest hmm hidden gems ever is - Albion PC :) It's great to play on the Dosbox + Steam Deck (also the Ishar series and generally silmarils games such as Transarctica)
I believe there there isn't a perfect solution. The only decent way of doing it, making sure that the games work flawlessly on modern systems, is by grabbing them on GOG.
Have you tried exoDOS? It is a version of Dosbox highly optimized and compatible with ALL Dos games of all times. I recommend downloading the lite version and then downloading and installing the good ones like those on this list. please try it
que jornada que foi este video. acompanhou me hoje durante o trabalho. p.s. que feito grandioso que foi o Grand Prix e o GP2, as vezes uma pessoa esquece se do quao groundbreaking estes titulos eram pra altura
Quick note! 11:11 - naginata is pronounced "naguinata". In Hepburn, the "g" is always a hard "g". For the "j" sound, it's a j. You pronounced it as if it was "najinata". That's a veeery common mistake when Portuguese people read Japanese via Hepburn romanisation haha.
@4:22 This games must've used the same engine as th-cam.com/video/jLVkS7TMl9I/w-d-xo.html Even the engine sound is the same. Dare I mention Warcraft: Orcs & Humans?
Continua. Grande abraço.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Roger! Glad you enjoyed 😉 Have a great weekend! Cheers!
@@raggeragnar absolutely agree :-) I’m loving this and it bringing back so many memories.
I like how fast games were developed and evolving at that time. Even three years nearly felt like a decade full of iconic classics, haha.
Yep! Indeed ;)
Love this Chanel. Please upload more about MS-DOS, Windows 98se and XP. 😊
Thank you 😊 I have already stuff related to those eras, but I'll be bringing more 😉
I never completed Prince of Persia. I finished all three Dark Souls games but P of P is on another level. Games were hard back then. 😢 Great video and great memories. Thanks for that.
Indeed, back then souls-like games were all over the place ;) Cheers, Jim! Thanks for stopping by!

I know a lot of the Space Quest fans think 4 is the best, but I *love* SQ3. The world around it is amazing.
The third was/is also amazing! No doubt! Almost made it to this list ;) Cheers! Thanks for watching!

I played the Indiana Jones game on the Atari ST and loved it! Surely one of the best of those days.
Indeed! So good! :) Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
11 days ago? Why so long to recomend me this already subscription, YT?!?!
Que upgrade no som... Nem tem comparação a parte da música nos jogos.

😀
Is there any emulation-games pack that we can run these games on modern computers?
