    I just made this and oh my gosh it's indescribably good. I wasn't able to get Vermont so I got a couple boxes of S&B Golden Curry. I used chicken stock and the coconut milk like suggested and the flavor profile really elevated. I could eat this every day

      As a south asian one question to everyone especially the TH-camr how do you eat chicken without garlic and giner... ok maybe forget ginger... but not to add garlic and herbs to chicken makes the chicken smell, it's literally shocking how non-south asians cannot tell that smell... we south asians have to let that chicken get it's flavour from the garlic/ginger and spices while it's dry before adding water to the dish....I remember the first time I tried chicken firecracker I couldnt eat the chicken becuase I could smell that chicken...

    • @BlackTigr
      @BlackTigr 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Yeah some of the recipes I've seen that tell you to add it at the end, kind of irk me. I know some do this to make sure it doesn't burn, but it makes you miss out on the ingredients absorbing the flavors by the time you dig in for the first time. I get the leftovers taste better the longer they sit together and meld, but that also gets sped up when you just add the blocks earlier.

    • @azulaisafunnylewdgirl
      @azulaisafunnylewdgirl 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I added the curry as soon as I added the carrots and poatoates in, before letting it simmer for 30 minutes and letting it cook for 15 minutes.
      Its my first time making curry, I'm worried I ruined the recipe cuz of this order😔

    • @BlackTigr
      @BlackTigr 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@azulaisafunnylewdgirl Nah. It won't ruin it. Depending on what the blocks contain (I.e. How much sugar they contain), just make sure to not have it on high heat so it doesn't burn. I actually prefer to add them at the start (or at least half of them) so that the ingredients soak up the flavors faster.

    • @Dr.Nagyonfaj
      @Dr.Nagyonfaj 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I agree with the veggies soaking up the flavor. However, because of the roux in the cubes, you run the risk of burning at the bottom of the pot. I usually add some of the S&B curry powder to the liquid for the cooking process, and then add the cubes toward the end. Best of both worlds. :-)
