    Hi, Sister Ivy
    As an Pan Africanist for twenty seven years, I have been encouraging Africans abroad to come home and reconnect with our roots and realities in our mama land.
    We’ve been out of our homes in Africa for more than four hundred years.
    In my opinion we already have our own flag which is our Bendera flag which our United States of Africa flag to unite Africans at home and abroad.

    • @IvyProsper
      @IvyProsper  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This flag does not negate the Pan African flag.
      It's simply one that formally recognizes with a tangible flagwhat the African Union has already acknowledged as the 6th Region.

    I think Acfta should speed up its operations of trade within Africa and with the Caribbean countries. Africa has been too slow in implementing economic intergration. Africa must also learn how to keep it's secrets from it's external enemies. We also have internal enemies(traitors and corrupt leaders) who must either be brought to justice or eliminated to give way to progress so that the lives of Africans can be improved. Remember that corruption is the gravest and most tragic form of human rights abuse because it denies ordinary people the right to basic human needs such as good and free education, healthcare and insurance, the right to food,clean drinking water and clothing. When the former president of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly Zaire) was overthrown in 1997, he had an estimated 9 billion us dollars in his private bank account in Switzerland and his country had a foreign debt of also 9 billion us dollars. Then he called himself a president of the people. Rubbish. Just imagine what that 9 billion us dollars could have done for the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. And this is just the Democratic Republic of the Congo. How about other corrupt African leaders? How much money have they stolen from their people. They should all be stoned to death coz they have also killed millions of people thruough corruption that have denied the building of hospitals and food security.

    Or is it just a partnership between AfCFTA and the said diaspora body in Ghana?

    • @IvyProsper
      @IvyProsper  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The African Union officially recognizes the global African diaspora as the 6th Region.
      The AfCFTA was created/negotiated by the African Union and the office is in Accra, Ghana and they are an important arm of the vision of the AU.
      The only Embassy specifically for the diaspora recognized by the African Union is Diaspora African Forum and that is also headquartered in Ghana.
      By nature that these 2 offices are in Accra, the official flag for the diaspora was unveiled in Ghana for that reason. The flag is now flying at the AfCFTA building.
      I hope that helps clarify.
