Would the carbon fiber diffuser for the mk8 golf r transfer over to the mk8 gti due to the bumpers being the same?

Those audi rims fit so good on the golf. 👍
Audi Peelers really do look good on anything
rims look nice and complement the ride height but the AUDI SIGNATURE in the middle of the rims need to be removed as it looks weird considering the car is VW
@@m.beatty3604 both audi and vw are covered in their symbols if you look close but yeah it would look neat without the audi centre cap.
So if i wanted to do quad tips on mk8 gti can the mk8 r rear diffuser work on gti???
You mentioned VW is fixing the infotainment system. Do you know what model year that’s supposed to be in the U.S.?
Is the spoiler fixed for the GTI it’s not as flush as the golf R. It has color leak on the sides.
You missed mentioning the paint matched side reflectors
Does the GTI have lowering springs installed? The ride height fits those wheels nicely.

Front lip and diffuser available in carbon fiber too for the mk8??
Currently we do not have carbon fiber available, but here's our estimated times for when they should be here:
MK8 R diffuser should be late April
MK8 R Lip should be late May
MK8 GTI diffusers is mid/late July
MK8 GTI Lip is early April

Would that gloss black Golf R rear spoiler fit the GTi ?
It will, but you would need to buy a stock Golf R spoiler. We actually sell it on our site here: bit.ly/3YAUPHW
DSG suspension?
Can you add the VW logo or maybe even the ECS logo to the engine cover?
Unfortunately since the stock one didn't have a logo, we didn't plan on adding one to ours. However, we do have ECS stickers that you could add on yourself and make it more personal for your vehicle
Is there an ETA for the FMIC for the GTi ? It looks great on the R!

Gawd the infotainment is very easy to use. took me 10 minutes to learn. Serious? Crazy how little you can adapt to tech. Perhaps spend 30 minutes (3x more time than I did) and you'll be fine. Or don't and keep whining
Have had my R for 4 months now and the reviews on the tech as so overblow. My only complaint is how fast you can adjust volume, that is it.
What’s the link to the diffuser on the gti?
Currently we're still waiting on the carbon fiber rear diffuser, but we just released both the textured and gloss black versions of it!

Unfortunately our FMIC is still in the prototype stage, but hopefully should be available here soon!
@@ecstuning dbv2 has one for 1800 that’s crazy. The arm kit for the mk7 is 540 and they’re almost the same car.
I've driven both, and if I had the money, I would choose the Golf R all day. Especially with that spicy Unitronic tune!
That Unitronic tune surely does change the car up!
I've driven both too and I've got the money and went with GTI performance trim (top trim in Canada) love much more the the R. I got the DSG too and the interior is better (love the 2 tone leather) and I noticed the R is way too heavy for my taste.
@@stevegasparGolf R looks way nicer. From the factory they are detuned. I have also a GTi Mk6 and found the mk7 too heavy, TCU and ECU tune, FBO and that thing pulls w it's humble ko3. Soon will upgrade to stage 3. MK6 with it's revolver stock wheels and suspension has no wheel hop from a launch compared to the MK8 GTI.
I was going to get the Golf R and all the ECS upgrades until the infotainment review. Thanks 😅🤣😂

Do u guys still have no customer service and take forever to ship out items? Genuinely wondering as ive heard a tonn of bad things about ordering from ecs. Ive always wanted to get things from u guys but again ive heard tons of bad things about ur customer service and shipping times
I've ordered a turbo kit and a bunch of other things from ECS and the shipping was a little delayed because some parts weren't in stock but the customer service was excellent. It did take a while to arrive but that's because I'm in Australia. I've contacted them after installation about some Orings on the turbo and they were happy to help.
We've actually have been doing a lot of things behind the scenes to make our customer service experience and shipping a lot better than it was in the past. If items are in stock, we can usually ship them out the same day you order. We also have curbside pick-up available if you live around the Akron Ohio area. If you have any questions about anything when it comes to ordering, don't hesitate to contact our customer service.
