Back in in the early 90’s my brother got a dog from this guy and his name was “Midnight smoke” man I’m about to cry right now boy that was the best damn pit pull dog I’ve ever known in person king of our small town R.I.P. “SMOKE”

As an owner of a good dog it’s great to hear the history from real breeders.Up here in Canada it’s pretty hard to find any ol’e school breeders.Theres such a mix up of backyard breeders who only breed for the cash and not quality.

checkout gladiator kennels in quebec and also unionbull just outside quebec city.. hemphill and wilder outcrossed with sorona blood for the most part i think. i had a female from union bull that had really good out of the box traits.

I love how the man himself calls Bolio as us Mexicans do , since he's named after a Mexican bread, pronounced Bo-Lee-oh. Often hear it pronouced just a lil diffrent.. But liked hearing Mr. Patrick say like us

Bolio was from Texas. So that’s why his name is pronounced like that. It’s not because Patrick is Mexican. Although he might be. The dog is pronounced that way cause he is from texas
@@massdisruption3437 I'm pretty sure I didn't suggest Mr Patrick was Mexican, but if I'm not mistaken, Bolio was Initially Indian Sunny's dog, and yes being that they're in the Southwest it's pretty fair to also assume that Spanish words get used normally by the culture . But more than anything just was bringing up a fun little tid bit, about this legendary Bulldog..

I just got a question if it can get to pp. What did the tacoma bring to the breeding of bosco? I have some of the last tacoma out there, and they are true to their origins. I know Mike ferris got dogs after doyle died. Pat B had some as well. They were bred to corvino, clouse and red devil stock in Chicago. What did they bring to the table? Did pat see the red hot female?

I would’ve asked what qualities did Bolio produced at that set him apart. I seen crawlers come off of Rolo , and hardmouths off Rojo.
Bolio and other Rom dogs produced champions and grand champions in their children and grandchildren and backcrosses etc and passed traits on consistently
Pat Patrick is probably the best breeder if gamebred American pitbull terriers. I don't believe that about Bert Sorrells, cuz there ain't no black Sorrells dogs. But what do I know,I've heard alot of different things about his breeding's.

I got a pit back in the day when I was young ive always wanted a true APBT and when I moved out I bought one when I was 18. I didn't know too much about bloodlines but I was trying to learn. But I found someone with some badass red nose pits and I just loved that red color. But I remember the breeder telling me she was Bolio/ Patrick's and Clouse I could be a little off I apologize if I'm mistaken. But she was a 35 pound bitch who was the best dog I've ever owned once she fully matured I found out about all the game she had she was ferocious towards any other dog or animal but was awesome with my kids and family. But I tried and tried to breed her with some of my cousins dogs not knowing the bloodlines or anything was still inexperienced but couldn't find a male badass enough to breed with her she was too tough. Anyways never got any pups. Once she finally passed I told myself I would never get another dog unless it was another one like her. But never could find that breeder again lost her papers and just never was in any good position or living situation to keep a badass game APBT. But now I own over an acre in Florida and I'm well hidden in a secluded area where everyone has some type of bully breed dog and other farm animals. So im ready again I hope the right person reads this message I would love to get another true badass APBT again preferably a red nose pit with Bolio or any other good strong bloodline. When I was in the dog game business it was very hard to find a honest dog man they will tell u the sun moon ad stars so I found it hard to trust anyone so I gave the dog game up

Indian sonny stole a dog from Patrick, that’s why Patrick didn’t have a problem owning bolio knowing he had been stolen from Indian sonny! Sonny was responsible for quite a few stolen dogs. Pit General and Eli were stolen by sonny
If Tombstone had heart worms did he pass it on to the offspring? Would that cause defects in the line as time went on or did they notice or pay attention to the longevity of the offspring
