Glad to hear the customer didn’t make a big deal about the damage done to the siding. I know it would of ruined my mood too. The cable from the internet company are always barely in the ground, I’ve seen people damage many of them. But if I was in the area, I would have fix it.
They came out and replaced the cable the next day! Yessir good customers are a blessing!
I think if you curl the bucket while its on the ground, you will get more leverage to pull something out... Then you don't have to worry about the machine popping off like that... At least on my SCL-1000... Also, my 4 inch Brush Grubber works great for things like that... Get a short chain with hooks... Will make things easier... Got mine from norther Tools... Good Luck
I appreciate the tips brother!
Glad it wasn’t worse! That’s odd 811 didn’t pick up the comm line but hey, it happens. That’s why I always try to look for any water, communication or power boxes and gas lines when using equipment just in case they miss anything!
811 in my area has gone down hill. They said they aren’t responsible for comm, internet, fiber optics or any other type of service that was installed by anyone other then the state, county or city. So they don’t mark anything 🤣
Yeah, I do also. The customer was thinking it was run through the top like the power lines since they didn't locate it, but nope, it wasn't, lol. I'm glad I got lucky with a cool customer!
Of course they have lol @dalewreight9103. I feel like over time, my area will be the same 😂
Thats great you made it right with your customer.
Its the best way to be.
Or after the third time they say no, just go with it
Keep up the good work
I appreciate your support brotha 🫡💪
Where would i find somewhere to buy one of those mini skid steers?
I got mine from Harco rentals and sales in Winder GA
Before you plant the root ball, stick a piece of 1 1/4" PVC pipe down the side of the hole, cut it so it sticks above the ground 5-6". Now the owner can fertilizer or water just below the root ball and it will entice the tree to put in a tap root.
Great tip! Thank you
$800 only though?
Yessir, I give repeat customers better deals but that amount was very fair for the amount of work I did. Nothing got hauled away, so pretty much all equipment work
How much would you have charged? and what state are you in @Acekg1911
@@JackofHaulTrades I'm no landscaper by any means. I just feel like the guys around me in the New England area would be getting at least $1500 -$2K for a job like this. You did a lot in one day, (it seems) so your expertise, and covering the wear and tear on the machines as well as your truck and trailer should also be considered.
That all being said, you could be spot on with your pricing based on whats competitive in your area.
@Acekg1911 For my area, this is a good price sir. My machines didn't get used all day the stump grinder was used for less than 1h, and the mini skid probably around 4h. I do take that into account I won't be using my equipment if it doesn't make sense look through a few of my other videos! I appreciate you looking out for me
7x16 comin soon ?
Yessir it will be a monster 💪💪
that backhoe attachment I showed you would work good for those tight to house bushes.
I know man! One day I'll have all the attachments for that mini skid, but for now I gotta work with whatever I have
Have you considered getting a dumpster. Trailer ??
He has 3
I think you are trying to say roll off trailer/ dumpsters. Yes I did, but I prefer the dump trailer game for my area! Rolls of can't fit in as many spots as a dumptrailer. I appreciate the question its a good one I feel like I can make a whole video on it 😂
@@GuitarRocker123I appreciate you 🫡
Yes. I meant the roll off trailer.
@Jesus-mc2do If my business continues to grow, I'll most likely get them eventually, but for now the dump trailers suit me better sir
Definitely glad everything worked out ok 👌🏾
Yessir same here!
Why didn’t you plywood the side of the house when stump grinding ?
Good question. I forgot 🤦♂️, but I remembered on the second stump atleast. Hitting that house through me off my game, it was my first accident like that
@@JackofHaulTrades I hear ya man every time we mess up it throws off the whole rest of the day. You trucked through it though. Good work and keep it up man you’ll do great things.
@Eagertreecleaner2018 I appreciate you brother 🙏 . Good luck to you, Keep grinding 💪 🫡
