I like how you explain things as you go and your conversational tone. Very good videos.
I appreciate the feedback boss man! 🫡
If your hauling scrap on a regular basis... you should get a portable oxy/acetylene cutting torch and learn how to use it safely, it will help you break down massive items into manageable condensed loads. This will reduce your trips which will maximize your profits.
Yessir, great tip! I need to get myself one, but I'll hold off for now. I don't deal with metal as often as I'd like to. Hopefully, that will change someday! I know there is money to be made in scrapping. But it just needs to be done on a high scale
9:22 It's awesome that you took the extra step to remove that metal that was buried. Really shows the quality in your work.
I appreciate the support brother!
Just use the home made bike jumps as a ramp to get the height you need loading
Haha that was funny!!! 🫡
When you have the 4 foot trailer, start loading the trailer with the doors open from the rear. Then you'll be able to get a lot of clearance
I do that when I'm loading hevey logs!
Some of them pallets on the property can be recycled to a pallet builder and they pay up to $3.50 sometimes more
I tried to sell them or even give them away, but no one wanted them 🤷♂️
That was a fun job man, what a cool property and customer!
Thanks man! I appreciate the feedback 🙏 🫡💪
Have you considered first loading the trailer from the rear... Opening the doors and driving in to dump up front... You should be able to compress down all the materials with the grapple or bucket to fit more possibly ....
Yessir I have. My ramps are too steep on this trailer, but I just got a new one with longer ramps, and it's 16ft long so I will be able to do that with the new trailer!
the car is a AMC pacer .. the other big part is a press ... sell it dont junk it you could get 3 to 400 for it
I need the knowledge you have! Thank you for the feedback sir 🫡💪
The car junk but that press if you were still in Cali I would buy it lol
@@pressurekleen337 I live out in GA now.
But the homeowner is keeping it
That's some serious clearing bro! You sure do put your mini to work. I swear you do more lifting with your camera than anything else lol.
Haha thanks brother! 🫡💪
2:05 that big metal chunk is the frame of a hydraulic press, missing the hydraulic cylinder and hoses. like a 50 ton one, nice if someone needs it
Yep, you're full of knowledge! Thanks for confirming. I asked the customer after I recorded that, and he told me the same thing you just did 🫡💪
ROCK ON!
I appreciate the support brother 🫡💪
Great job Dave here from Charlotte nc chin junk removal
Thanks Dave! I appreciate the support 💪🫡
The car is an AMC Pacer and the rusty other piece is a frame of a hydraulic press.
Thank you for the info good sir! 🫡
You need to learn HOW to use a cutting torch ! You also need a tilting flat bed trailer with a 12,000 electric winch , 24 feet long ! With the first 8 feet with a non tilting flat bed front portion so you can load your skid steer from the side !
Yessir, I definitely need to learn that! And yep, that would be awesome. Maybe one day I'll have a cool trailer like that!!!!
I would think a gas engine cut off saw would be faster.
@firstname6208 The sawzall does good enough for me for now! but when the job will call for a bigger tool, I will get it :)
Great video buddy!!
I appreciate the support brother! 🫡
Great video bro
I appreciate the support brother!
Any old cars or any parts for an old car you could sell for decent money
The problem is that you have to have a place to store it, so it dosen't make sense to go through all the hassle if it's only a few bucks but if it's something expensive it's definitely worth looking into!
You really need a clamshell grapple. Bigger opening and short floor. Can dump high.
YES I do! Hopefully one of these days, I can buy more attachments...there is an attachment for every job out there, but they are just so freaking expensive 😭
True.
AMC Pacer
Thanks man!
Awesome video! How did you go about pricing a large job like this?
Thanks man! I had to study my market well, and find out what everything costs, etc... now I'm very good at estimating jobs by just looking at them in person. It's hard to explain over text, but every market is different you need to know your expenses. You also need to know what the competition is charging in your area, and you can base your prices somewhere around them
How often do you run into copperheads?
Not often I have seen less than 5 so far I think
I’d really like to know what you’re charging for this work
Hey sir! If you didn't watch the full video, go back and watch it. I said the amount I charged in it!
AMC Pacer
A few other people said the same thing so it must be true! Thank you for the feedback 🫡
