  • I always talk about how important it is to build relationships with people. I definitely wouldn't be where I'm at today if I tried to do it all on my own. Don't be afraid to take the first step!

    Have a welder put some hangers on the side of your trailer so u can lay your ramps on it and drive up on them to rais your loader up high enough to dump over the side

      Thank you for the tip sir. I want 3ft walls and bigger axles. That way, it won't get overloaded on big tree jobs 💪💪

    Im a logger/tree climber and do tree work everyday. Good work! One thing i noticed was the way you applied your chainbrake with the palm of your hand at 6:50. I had a coworker that did that constantly, especially in a rush. I told him constantly to just use the top of his wrist of the hand thats holding the hand wrap. He missed the chain break one day while the saw was still running and his palm met his chain. Not a pretty sight or med bill….Be safe bro!

      Great tip man. I appreciate the feedback! I'm new to tree work, I'm still learning but hopefully one day I'll become a professional climber. The main side of my business is Junk Removal. What state are you in?

    Man, your tree guy should have rented a chipper for the day! You could have chipped into one trailer, and loaded logs in the other while he was dumping the chips. Way more efficient.. all that brush wastes a ton of space in a trailer! Nice job!

    • @JackofHaulTrades
      @JackofHaulTrades  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      90% or more of the brush stayed, so it wouldn't be worth it on this one. But if all the brush had to go, yeah a chipper would be ideal! Thank you for the feedback good sir

    Would love to find out how to find skilled laborers that want to work, can get jobs but need equipment to rent. I'm gonna look into this. Thanks for the post!

    • @JackofHaulTrades

      I connect with contractors usually on Facebook marketplace. I just try to be as respectful as I can and try to build relationships from there. It's not easy but sometimes it works out! Equipment is expensive, and I don't want it sitting because then I wouldn't be able to pay the bank every month. Try posting your machine for rent there I believe you will have pretty good luck!

    Does the 4x4 on your truck not work?

    • @JackofHaulTrades
      @JackofHaulTrades  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It does work. But once it loses traction, it's pretty much done. Especially when it has a heavy load on wet dirt going uphil
