Looking at all the problems Germany went through invading Russia from the most developed zone, I can't imagine how could the japanese army have invaded Russia from Siberia and far east, the least developed zones by that time. Literallt impossible to supply
@@manupino6065 Stalin had been fearing a Japanese invasion since the start of Germanies Invasion and so had stationed many Siberian Units on that front. When Japan attacked the U.S. instead he knew they wouldn't invade and moved said troops to the western front. That's where all of the well equipped snow Russian soldiers came from when Germanies offensive stalled. Japan wouldn't have needed to push in very far, just enough to keep said units engaged.

But yes you are correct there is a difference. Spain ceded Gibraltar to the UK in perpetuity in a legal internationally recognized treaty. Therefore Spain has less claim to Gibraltar than Chile has to has to the coastline of Peru.
