Why would Resmed turn off in middle of night?

The AirSense 10 may shut off if you have auto off on. If a patient moves around during the night, the cpap mask maybe bumped accidentally and cause a sudden large leak. The machine would think the patient took the mask off and finished sleeping. Therefore the auto off kicks in and shuts the machine off. This is a common scenario but not sure if it happened to you. You can turn off the auto off feature and see if it fixes the problem for you. Thanks.

What does the warm up mean?

The warm up mode is the preheat function. Here is the ResMed link that explains the function: ap.resmed.com/knowledge/what-is-warm-up-mode

What should be the humidity level when the weather temperature is 38 degrees

if you have heated tube then use AutoClimate control. It auto adjust to 80% humidity and 81F. If you just have humidifier then starts at 4 out of 8 setting them adjust up or down based on comfort.

Haha. True. You can go to manual mode to turn the tube temperature lower. :)

Normally it gets pretty dry in the winter. I would start with humidity at mid-level then adjust up and down until you are comfortable. You can also try auto-climate control with ResMed machines.
