I did use DEI fire sleeve in much of my build. I used a sleeving that had better thermal protection on my original drain. It held up just long enough and didn’t rupture. I am trying to share with others that using a conventional plastic lined AN tube is not safe long term.

Vibrant has a right clearance 90 degree you can try and use to just have clearance away from the manifold and then run the line down to the sump
A T4 spacer would have helped also. You would probably need to modify the downpipe. That’s what I did with my old CX manifold back then
Thank you for sharing your suggestion. I didn’t want to use a spacer due to concerns of radiant heat from the turbo damaging the finish on my hood.

It's unfortunate that CX won't update the design since it's such a garbage kit.
