Fantastic work! What a wonderful way to introduce the method! I'll be linking to this from The Feldenkrais Project. Thank you for getting the word out about what the method is and how it's practiced! -Nick Strauss-Klein
Years ago I bought a book based on this method and after 3 weeks of practice my pain in my neck was gone, almost with no difficulty whatsoever, just relaxing and 15 minutes a day. I still have the book and every now and then just for maintenance doing the exercises ❤❤❤❤❤
So who came next with somatic experiencing /somatic movement? Peter Levine or Thomas hanna? Or did Levine realise the benefit for trauma and hanna for the red and green reflex?
wonderful explanation about all the varieties of possible explorations within the feledenkrais method leading to a more mature and fufilling life

I think he laid the groundwork for neuroplasticity, embedding its principles in his teachings before the concept was formally recognized.
@@excitinglife2302 yes or at least he intuitively understood the brain was plastic and our greatest ability is our capacity to learn ;)
