Your pattern will typically tell you to "turn the work" or work a short row. In my example above, I'm working short rows every three stitches just as a demonstration.
@@ShainaBilow got ya! Thanks for the reply. I have always struggled with short rows for some reason and usually just avoid patterns that have them. Not a great way to increase your skills though🤔😢

@@kimburris837 Try a few different types of short rows and find your favorite and then cast on for those projects you've been avoiding!
