Polestar 2 refresh should appeal to buyers who don't like the Model 3 refresh because of the lack of stalks and the added advantage of more practicality of the Polestar 2 being a hatchback. The new RWD Polestar 2 single motor’s has 320-mile EPA range and faster charging speed. Other upgrades include an increase of 69 horsepower (299 total) and 118 extra lb-ft of torque (361 lb-ft in all). Additionally, the 440V platform can charge as high as 220 kW, charging 10-80% in 25-28 mins - a 20% speed increase, according to Polestar.
I am exactly that buyer :D (Although I'm leasing :P) Although I went with the dual motor so I had 4WD since I live in Sweden and was a bit nervous about such a powerful RWD here... :p

You didn't get into the biggest con. The cup holders. Plus it is a sedan not a crossover. And I have never seen it charge faster than 150kw. And the charge curve is bad.
It is not the 1st EV by Polestar. It is call 2 because it is the 2nd model. Polestar 1 is the 1st Polestar EV. 0 to 60 is only 4 second, not 6. The charge rate is 150kw for the dual motor. 250kw for single motor only. A lot of EV don't even have a frunk. Polestar 2 is in comparison to Model 3, not Y. Polestar 2 is not the best seller. It has a high sale number because majority are fleet vehicles. Polestar 2 qualify for the $7,500 tax credits. Not the 1 with the best range. There are 5 others EV can out range polestar 2. Ask any polestar owner. The infotainment screen is laggy.
The leg room in the back is horrible. This alone makes it a "no buy" for me. I don't understand why they build EV cars like this. They could have easily increased the interior space and shortened the front "engine" area but they didn't. So now they are stuck with a vehicle that's trying to mimic an ICE vehicle's profile. So many EVs are still doing this. The Honda Prologue, the Blazer, the i4...
You have Android Auto as a Pro??? That means you're not only providing your data to Polestar (Volvo does the same, sadly) but to Google. Everything you do with this car will be tracked and sold on by Google (read the privacy policy). I've got the same gripe with Rivian, Audi, GM, et al. who cheaped out and let Amazon be the data collector - scratch that - user interface provider for the vehicle.

It's very well made. Made in China just means location now. Can be well made or not. Volvo S90 is also made in China. New Lotus cars will be made in China. So what?

Great car, hired one for a week and loved it. preferred it to the Tesla which I also hired.
2 corrections: 0-60 is 4.2s (officially, people get 3.8s)
And in USA Polestars can be serviced by any Volvo space.

The visibility is horrendous. I think there is a new version that might charge faster but the body itself on the outside and inside is identical

The All wheel drive gets 4.2 seconds. I don't think this is the AWD because it gets 300+ range
