Thank you so much for your video it helped my wife and I to change our actuator after having the same problem. Also you son is a great camera man as the video made it very easy.
Good for you! Not that hard when you try. The ford dealer wanted something like $600 including 2 hours of labour to do this so worth doing on your own in half an hour.
WOW, thats some bucks for the whole actuator. Inside The actuator plastic housing there is a plastic worm drive gear that snaps or the motor burns out I bought a set of 4 off ebay for about 30 bucks. Just a bit more time to take the actuator undone and so much cheaper.
Handy info and a good life experience for your kids. Awesome

Thanks for your video, I learnt how to remove my door.

@@micilm Yes, although I tried several times to fix the problems but still worth it. Thanks again!

Omg I'm female and watching this video your making it look hard bro but hey 👍for the video for people who don't know how to change an actuator💯
We enjoyed the challenge! First time for everything
next time put the plastic clip in the hole first then slide rod in and clip plastic over
Did you said in the video the whole parts of the actuator cost you $20 ? Or I heard it wrongly?😂
Would help a lot if the camera was watching what was happening as the job was being done.
You’ve gotta admit tho that the camerawork, for a 5 year old, is superlative
