It can be a really hard challenge to tackle, but I think you nailed it ! After the 60 ish head I can tell just by your lines that you're more comfortable with it ! Keep up the good videos !
Heres the thing. You wont be perfect. Ever. Never never ever. Be there and that is all. You sound like my younger self. Be kind to you4self. You are good enough and will grow naturally. We cannot bend time trying to get everything done and learned at once. You got this
Very true, I'm trying hard to learn that lesson because for me, trying to be perfect backfires in the form of major burnout lol. Which makes me feel worse then if I just accepted the imperfection in the first place. Thank you for the kind comment :)
Isabella that's awesome of you and that's an awesome challenge that you gave yourself, and how you put your mind to work during that time of suffering that you where going through, way to go and what a way to strengthen yourself from the inside out ,I'm doing the same thing but instead of a hundred heads I'm filling up an entire sketch book of heads , your style really comes through, the next challenge that you should give yourself is urban sketching, may God smile upon you and your family stay blessed stay safe out there 💪💛💪😇🙏!
Thank you for the kind comment! And wow, a whole sketch book?? That will be really satisfying to flip through when you are all done, I wish you luck! And the urban sketching is a good idea. I'll definitely think of a way to implement that into a future video. Take care!
I enjoyed this! Good job on your heads. I started drawing last year, got really burnt out and discouraged and quit after 3 months, but this has really got me motivated to pick up a pencil and start again. Good luck 😁
I am self taught! 😊 I started by paying for a Patreon subscription to luisdraws on Instagram (I believe that’s his handle, it’s been a while since I’ve been on Insta) His Patreon was $5 per month at the time and he is an amazing artist!
You dont seem to have improved that much. Your features look the same with every person. The point of the challenge is to learn to draw the different features and proportions and get better overall at portraits etc and you seem to have completely missed the point of the challenge... and also, usually people think they dont have a style but everyone does. I havent seen anyone draw like you (althought the proportions are way too big)
thank you for the encouragement! I'm going to try it!
Thank you so much for sharing this. This is really motivating me, while I also work on my 100 heads video ... Your results are perfect ❤
So much of what you said resonated with me! You put it into words perfectly. Beautiful art and video! 🩷
loved how honest you are about your mental health. Great video, loved your art!
Thank you so much!

Yes, this challenge definitely helped me feel more comfortable with drawing heads! Thank you for the kind words 😊
