You are being so sensible staying on 2.5 for longer. Well done for actually listening to your body rather than just upping as quickly as possible. Setting a great example of how to use this miracle meditation correctly! 👏🏼❤️ Happy Christmas to you too 🥂🎄✨
I am on week 3 today! Lost around 6lbs 2.7kg so far and I’m loving how I do not have the food noise! I do notice towards the end of the week I start getting more hungry and start to think about food more. Thanks for the update 😊
I am month 4 and have lost 2 stone 3lbs. I have been on 5mg for 3 months and am going onto 7.5 this week. Tbh I have not exercised as yet as I felt I needed to lose a bit to get the energy to do that and so I intend to up my physical activity. I am halfway to my goal weight and my energy levels have really improved, personally I have not had any side effects that I have noticed. I do get reflux at night and it can be quite uncomfortable in bed but 8 had reflux before Mounjaro. I did some research and a glass of skimmed milk is recommended by gastroenterologists and I tried it last night and it helped a lot! Foodwise I do not calorie count and I eat normally and the same as previously (minus snacks) but with much smaller portions of course, I don’t eat junk food or processed foods as I just have never eaten that way. I definitely eat less and the biggest change is that I have no inclination to snack. I have heard it said that it stops ‘food noise’ and it does! I also did not take the Mounjaro for one month back in mind October into mid November and my weight stayed stable which was encouraging and although my appetite increased a bit, I did feel that my stomach and brain had learned to stop when I am full. Good luck!
Im on week 10 and in week 2 of 7.5. Currently lost almost 15KG. Not dieting or calorie counting at all but think I might start monitoring a little now. You're doing amazing. Well done.
Thank you for sharing your experience 🙂 I’ve just finished my week 4 on Mounjaro 2.5mg and lost 5.1kg so far, slow and steady journey, with very minimal side effects, I can only say positive things about my treatment up to this point 👍🏼 Moving to 5mg today, wish me luck! I do Gousto
Love hearing your updates. Well done you are looking great. I bet you have started to notice I know I have now I’ve hit 1 stone loss. Actually not dreading Christmas outfits this year as things will fit! 🎉😂 thanks for sharing it makes be feel less alone in my journey 👍🏼 PS. I eat bananas with no issues. I’ve actually not found anything I can’t eat. Just a lot less of everything. Did go off eggs for a while.
*just a correction. Eli lily don’t recommended going up after 4 weeks each time. They just state you should move up from 2.5 to 5 after 4 weeks as 2.5 is only seen as a loading dose.
I’m always interested in what others are eating and our calories seem to line up. I’m about 1200-1400 a day with the odd 800-900 usually after jab day when I feel stuffed too quickly. I’m on week 11 and staying on the 5mg pen u til it stops working as I am routinely still losing. Well done on your journey so far and on enjoying being a mum. I hope you all enjoy your first Christmas together. ❤

Hi Helen, Wow you're doing amazing, you can really see it now, Your meals look lovely as always, ill have to get back in that frame of mind, i do S/ W am a target member,,, but out of target at the moment, i just dont feel in that zone, in fact now eating a bag of Tesco Finest sweet an savory maple nut selection 😮, very nice lol, were supposed to be for Christmas,, oh well ill have to buy more, But looking at you today you have spured me on, back on plan tomorrow, ive only got 4 lbs to lose to get back into target,, Have a great Christmas, it will be magical with little Pops 🫶
@@lauraoli9627 yes I’m not sure about other providers but the pharmacy I use (MedExpress) ask you to fill in a form online every time you reorder your prescription and you have to enter your current weight each time. My BMI is around 27 now x
What about when you get to a healthy weight I am worried that they will stop prescribing and the weight will come back on and not allowing it to be prescribed unless over 30 bmi???
Ignore the trolls they don't know what it's like living with food noise all your life. They wouldn't be so negative to someone who was using medication for mental illness or alcohol addiction etc. Keep up the good work.

Wow you're doing amazing, you can really see it now,

Helen you are sparkling. Absolutely adorable. Your lush. From a nanan with lots of boys ❤
My question - once you get below the BMI level of 30 and dont have hypertension or hypercholesteraemia, will they still prescribe it?

How are you in menopause? You look like you're in your twenties? Im 51 and went into menopause last yr xx
Menopause is awful isn’t it. I had cervical cancer at 27 and the chemo put me into induced early menopause x
@babblingbythebrook oh bless you!! And yes HRT has been my saviour, you are doing amazing, enjoy watching your content keep up the good work x
Diabetics have to be careful of bananas due to the high level of potassium. I don't think that weight loss users need to stop eating bananas.
Apperently they are also high on th glycergon scale as well a oranges n kiwi but its an individual thing at th end of th day 😊
Diabetics can eat pottasium like everybody else. Its the high sugar in bananas thats not good.
You look amazing. I'm finding it difficult to understand why you're even on Mounjaro - even given the fact you've lost over a stone.
What will happen when you stop using Mounjaro? All the weight you have lost and more will come back 😢 This is a short term fix unfortunately
How do you know? Have you taken it, lost weight, stopped and then gained it all back and more?

It’s not been adequately tested. The information is there if you look.
@@daisydot5441 it wouldn’t be being prescribed on the NHS if it hadn’t been adequately tested
it has been around much longer than people realize, and it's safe to take for the rest of your life.
