Hi Helen great you are doing well , couple of tips as I’ve been on this weight lost drug longer and lost over 3 stone . Don’t move up if you are losing weight , as moving up does not mean you will lose more ( I have been on 2.5 , 5mg then 7.5 mg and lost no more each week ) and don’t move up if you are having any bad side effects. Moving up will cost more money , you can Oder more then one pen at a time which makes it cheaper as only one delivery charge and they don’t charge as much when ordering the pens . It’s a good idea to watch what you eat as when you come off your appetite does return . What ever does you go up to you then have to work back down to find off and maintain . Hope this helps
Hi Helen! I'm 10lbs down on monjaro, I have definitely experienced vivid dreams, I wake up feeling like the dream has happened it's mad! I've just moved up to 5ml and don't really feel any different so I'm going to try a different place to inject like my leg, thanks for the update 🩷🩷
Hi Helen! I am so glad you brought up the fact that you are having vivid dreams! I am as well and I can see from the comments so are others. I was wondering if it might be the Mounjaro because im not under any kind of stress etc and my life is pretty great (touch wood). but these dreams... so vivid and always negative! ugh. thankfully it is not every night but maybe once a week? Ive completed 6 weeks and doing my next jab tomorrow. Im on 5mg. tomorrow will be my 7th jab. and 3rd jab of 5mg. I think i will stay on 5mg until the food noise returns. right now, i feel very good and dont experience food noise til day 5 and 6 which is manageable. Since beginning my journey, I have lost just over a stone which i didnt expect since I am Type 2 diabetic. I keep hearing how it takes longer for diabetics. I feel very fortunate that mine is coming off so quick
That gorgeous salad filled you up ❤. It didn't have many more calories than the poached eggs on toast I had this morning so I'm going to get some chicken and bacon in and do the same as it would also make a lovely dinner 😊
Hi from Scotland hi helen you are doing amazing and you look really well , well done you i am going to copy your recipes as i am back on trying to loose weight again thank y9u for taking the time sharing what you eat 8n a day cheers till next time hope you dont have any more crazy dreams. Anne
Ignore the haters and negative nellies lol. So many people with so many big opinions that arent living your life and have zero experience with this medication first hand. Theyre choosing to follow you so the jokes on them. ❤
Mounjaro user also. I gained over Christmas and back on 5mg and have lost what I gained almost which is good. Also have vivid dreams 😂 but I think I have always been a vivid dreamer I can usually connect it with what I’ve watched or spoken about
Well done on your weight loss Helen and thanks for sharing your recipes and your method of cooking chicken breast as mine in the pan turns out like rubber 😂 Is it 220 deg fan forced or regular bake? Thanks for your lovely videos and don’t pay attention to the negative comments from those less informed 💕
Thank you so much. Yes if I just do chicken breast in the oven it always turns out dry but pan frying it first makes such a big difference I learnt that from making hello fresh recipes. It’s 220 fan 12-15 mins depending on the size of the chicken breast x
Mounjaro user also. I gained over Christmas and back on 5mg and have lost what I gained almost which is good. Also have vivid dreams 😂 but I think I have always been a vivid dreamer I can usually connect it with what I’ve watched or spoken about. Although most recent weird dream was my fiancé and at our wedding and he needed to go to the toilet… took too long so the celebrant left 😂
Hi Helen, you look so well and doing amazing, can I ask what happens when you reach the weight and size you are happy with? Will you reduce gradually or stop the injection altogether? Salad looked very nice xx😍
Thank you so much!! I think when I am closer to my BMI being 25 I will get some advice on the next steps from my GP and see what he thinks about maintaining etc x
Hi Helen, thanks for this video, I always enjoy watching your channel for your honesty and relatability. Are you intending to go back to work or happy just being a Mummy? X
Congratulations, I've had a similar weight loss over the Christmas new year period, so don't worry about the scales moving down slow or quick it's all the same ❤
If you're eating 3 healthy meals a day then you dont need that injection. It is ridiculous promoting this! I can tell you now as soon as you stop using it and go back to eating 'normal food' you will bang the weight straight back on because although you are eating healthy. You're not having nowhere near the calories that is healthy for you!
This medication is doing more for me than just aiding weightloss. It has massively reduced my symptoms of lipodema. If you have watched any of my previous videos about this, you will know I went into early menopause at the age of 27, making it extremely hard for me to maintain a healthy weight since. I highly doubt you are in the same situation, so unless you are in the same situation and have the same medical conditions and experiences I have, you're not in a position to comment on what I need or don't need, sorry! Yes, you are entitled to your opinion of course but that's all it is. I'm all for opinions being shared by the way but there are other ways of sharing what you think without being rude. I'm not promoting Mounjaro either. I am sharing my experience for those who are interested. Also, yes I am having enough calories. My TDEE right now is 1,456 calories as I am 4ft11. So to be in a calorie deficit, I have to eat less than that. Thank you for your concern but I'm a 35 year old woman and I know what I'm doing.
It's for people with DIABETES! it's absolute bollocks! You will put thr weight back on I can absolutely assure you that. You'll be back here in 12 months time at Square one!
@@KatyKent these drugs/hormones have far more benefits than for just diabetes. And so what? It's her life. Let her live it, spend money as she wishes, and have an easier time eating less. So what if she'll be back at square one? It's her money.
