- Our emotions shape our choices, decisions, and actions.
In ancient texts, the Navarasa are mentioned-nine emotional states including love, laughter, sorrow, anger, heroism, terror, disgust, surprise, and peace. Each emotion plays a significant role in our lives. Sadness, or Karuna, is an emotional response to something upsetting, painful, or disappointing. While feeling sad is often perceived negatively, it is essential for processing life changes and gaining insight into our deeper feelings. Recognizing this can help us identify what we might be truly feeling beneath the surface-whether it's a loss of connection, a sense of rejection, or a feeling of being less than enough.
When you feel sad, allow yourself to feel it. We've been conditioned to believe that only happiness is acceptable, but unprocessed sadness can lead to more significant issues like depression and physical ailments. Ask yourself, "What is the underlying feeling beneath the sadness?" and then journal your thoughts. This helps declutter your mind and brings clarity. Remember, sharing your feelings makes you feel safe. Additionally, engage in activities that lighten your mood, whether it's laughing or something else you enjoy. The process is to feel the emotion, journal it, and then change your physical state.

Thank you for clarifying inspiration ℹ️🙂
Many incidences like failure in exams or interviews and not meeting the expectations and traumatic experience like bullying and harrasment at workplace may lead to sadness and sometimes even a matured person gets into crying 🙄
