Put him to sleep unless you have the funding for critical care. Our clinic charges anywhere from 5,000-15,000 for severe GI Tract problems. Most people can’t afford it so we euthanize the horse. Surgical displacement of an obstruction is costly and if medications and standard care doesn’t help, then you’re looking at surgery. Not trying to seem rude that’s just my opinion.
