Yeah so, when I was looking through my subscription box, I noticed this and kept scrolling. Shortly thereafter, I proceeded to have my biggest delayed reaction to anything in a *_LONG_* time.
Sure we wouldn't want those developers to beat themselves up, but they seem to be on a roll just look at the game it looks pretty solid, the music sounds nice too -needs more bass though- even if it's just a prototype.
Mighty No9 is good though, it's just not as good as what it should be for the money and is pretty janky around the edges. The game itself is definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of these kind of games.
*For everyone that wants this to have 8-bit visuals* I hope you can see that they would limit themselves going for 8-bit visuals. The 3D should be more looked at a good opportunity to make new and unique stage mechanics. An example already is that mini boss that is spinning around the level at the end of the video. This really is for the better, and much more exciting not knowing what sort of game-play features they will add!
Yeah I Agree! I really enjoyed 9 and 10. But they felt like they danced around megaman 2 a bit to much. I can totally understand why Capcom did that since it was a pretty long gap between 8 and 9 and wanted to play it safe cause they where unsure if it would sell or not. They could have easily done the same now between 10 and 11 but they didn't and instead moves forward with it. Makes me extremely happy!
Sentmi they can also finally explore details in character models that aren't possible in 8 bit! I was always bothered by the fact that promo art and figures of megaman don't look like him in the game, and now it matches up. I'm in love with the new style!!
Glen Yeah that's definitely a solid point. Yes the character art pages are just gorgeous! They can act more, show more personality and even do even more ways of storytelling in cut-scenes! That's why i hope the story is a bit more ambitious than the other games.

At 0:33, you can see that equipped weapons not only change Mega Man's color scheme, but his outline as well. His arm and head has gotten slightly bulkier. Nice to see that weapons aren't defined merely by color in this game.

This is clearly early footage, and the graphics / animations are sure to improve by the games next showcase (Summer 2018, probably at E3). . . Be happy we're actually getting Megaman 11, and that it looks good already to boot. Looking forward to what's to come.

Leonardo Ronaz I'm actually an original backer for the game back when it was on kickstarter I love Castlevania games too my love for Megaman doesn't take away how amazing SotN was or Portrait of Ruin which are my two favs from the series. I'm hoping that with the success bloodstained will have they will put these games on the virtual console I'd buy them again in a heart beat.

Leonardo Ronaz I can't even tell you how many times I played dawn of sorrow lol It's definitely worthy of praise, circle I enjoyed but In a different way I'd say it felt shorter to me and more classic Castlevania than the others. A lot of people don't realize how great it is that Mega man is coming back after so much time because it now proves Capcom is paying attention to what we want and it impacts series we love such as Castlevania because now they will notice Bloodstains success and want to make an original Castlevania game of their own. 2018 will be a great year for all of us who grew up loving these games and waited patiently for them to be brought back to life...... oh and don't even get me started when I heard the Megaman X collection was coming to switch I nearly died of disbelief lol

The series definitely won't be the same without the creator and Sonic has taught me that very well. But, unlike Sonic, at least they're sticking to the fundamentals instead of rewriting everything. On the plus side, the Switch is getting all of the collections.

Yes we should pretend MN9 wasn't a thing. The 11 in the title isn't because of some code name or robot id, this is MegaMan, the real deal and the 11th installment of a beloved series, not some knock off the old director rushed to the shelf to meet a his own set deadline. If you watched the Livestream you could tell that the team working on this game cares for MegaMan and wants him to succeed, unlike Inafune who just wanted to prove he could do MegaMan without Capcom and failed miserably.
WAIT,guys dont you see something here? Megaman 11, Metroid prime 4,the FF7 remake the last guardian. Dont you see a patttern? All of these are speculated/delayed games that we thought would never come out and yet they did. So in this list theres only 1 more game yet to be announced. HALF-LIFE 3 BAYBEEEE or Kingdom hearts 3 so whichever come out first I guess....

I think the new hand drawn graphics are 100x more beautiful than those 8-bit blobs from the original games, or the cheap polygonal graphics from Mighty No.9. It makes me think of Wario Land: Shake it!, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Skullgirls, etc, which I think is perfect for a series like Mega Man. For those who are complaining: please, move on from your retro bubbles and learn to appreciate the new art style. It's for the better. (Note: I did play the original 8-bit games to death while growing up, but it's not like I'm blinded by nostalgia goggles).

Some Kind of Democrat Mighty No. 9 is basically Capcom's fault. It wouldn't have needed to be made if Capcom didn't just make the baseless assumption that Mega Man has no market anymore. The series definitely won't be the same without the creator and Sonic has taught me that very well. But, unlike Sonic, at least they're sticking to the fundamentals instead of rewriting everything.
On the plus side, the Switch is getting all of the collections.
so capcom finally made the smart choice of not abandoning the series. Hopefully, they'll make x9, zx3 and legends 3. Seriously, x, zx and legends are left on cliffhangers.

Yes we should pretend MN9 wasn't a thing. The 11 in the title isn't because of some code name or robot id, this is MegaMan, the real deal and the 11th installment of a beloved series, not some knock off the old director rushed to the shelf to meet a his own set deadline.
If you watched the Livestream you could tell that the team working on this game cares for MegaMan and wants him to succeed, unlike Inafune who just wanted to prove he could do MegaMan without Capcom and failed miserably.

WAIT,guys dont you see something here? Megaman 11, Metroid prime 4,the FF7 remake the last guardian. Dont you see a patttern? All of these are speculated/delayed games that we thought would never come out and yet they did. So in this list theres only 1 more game yet to be announced. HALF-LIFE 3 BAYBEEEE or Kingdom hearts 3 so whichever come out first I guess....

I think the new hand drawn graphics are 100x more beautiful than those 8-bit blobs from the original games, or the cheap polygonal graphics from Mighty No.9. It makes me think of Wario Land: Shake it!, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Skullgirls, etc, which I think is perfect for a series like Mega Man. For those who are complaining: please, move on from your retro bubbles and learn to appreciate the new art style. It's for the better.
(Note: I did play the original 8-bit games to death while growing up, but it's not like I'm blinded by nostalgia goggles).
