    Great detective work guys. Yes wires can wick liquids that corrode connectors, wire, electrical components.

    Better find where that coolant came from before replacing stuff heater core or a one of the lines connecting to it maybe

    Busted heater core? If it was in an accident, is it possible the heater core developed a crack? Judging by how it kind of sprayed everywhere, I'm guessing you could probably pressurize the system and find it pretty quick if you already have the dash pretty much taken apart. Quick disconnects can be bad if it uses them instead of a hose barb fitting for the heater hoses - the O-rings leak.

    What was that about PT Cruiser and fluid migration in the harness? I'll be working on one again tomorrow with AC and heater issues. Probably not related but I was curious what the issue is on PT with oil migration.
