Love your bronco man, I couldn't wait for the hardtop. I got a 22 Wildtrak and its well worth the wait like you said! For the soft top guys look at IAG for there soft top easy lift assist, helps a ton especially keeping the top from scratching the roll bar.
I just watched your video but these were some of the first things I did to mine as well. The shorty antennae was a must. The screen protector takes care of the fingerprint issue as well. Subscribed.
If you’re going to spend 300 on the floor mats why wouldn’t you just get the dealership ones🤷♂️ front and rear weather tech mats are like 180 and I bet for the cargo one, itll come out to that $300 price anyways and it’s all bronco stamped…just a thought 💭
I'm torn on that. Mornings and evenings I like it open all the way, hot parts of the day you need it. How easy is it o remove? Was thinking about just going soft top and propping into position 2 when nice out.
The outer banks with all the options is actually nicer than my wifes g-wagon. She prefers to drive my bronco now because the electronics are nicer and the ride is nicer. Loaded with every option is around 70k, her g-wagon is a company car that they bought for her as a part of her contract. Im not sure how much they paid for it. The OB has carpet, real leather and a nice headliner. The B&O stereo and all of the adaptive CC, lane keeping and cameras are nice. I bought the mats from ford. Ford replaced my screen when i had a scratch, they said the coating is covered but if i put a protector on it, they wont cover it because it makes the screen overheat, they also told me about people breaking their screen when they remove the protectors. My wife uses the paracord grab handles. I put a rod between the rear ones to put shirts on when i pick up my dry cleaning.
Tailgate table is great... Also, I have the factory roof rails and you can only take the front roof panels off, with it installed. 😟 Redline hood struts are a must in my opinion. I have a '22 Wildtrak (HOSS3.0). Thanks!
I got my Outerbanks when they first came out right before the Pandemic got crazy and my dealer offered me 22 or 24K for my Escape and owed 9, and walked out the door for pretty much what they had with all the features at the time in Chili Red for 43K (leather cause I don’t off road and I’m 70 so no kids 😅😅😅) now I’m ready to starts some mods. Thanks for vids. Oh 2 years now just clicked 23K today.

first thing i bought for my badlands is the fog lights from diode dynamics and the metal door pins it changes the look of my car and also u can wrap your car with protective matte foil it will look insane 🔥
Not sure i would call most 9f them essential. Screen , matts and cargo protection yes, even a yes for the grab handles. What you missed was front mud flapps , and dash rail with phone holder

I get 23-24 running both in town and interstate. I run in ECO mode and don't drive like an idiot. I have a 21 Outer Banks 2-door with the 6 cylinder turbo.
I got the center console hard rubber cover, the door zipper bags that go over the netting, and the dealer gave me a free tailgate table which is also a must have. Not from amazon or the dealer, but I got the magellan hitch cargo carrier from academy sports and it is perfect. it clears my 35 sasquatch tire perfectly and can hold up to 500 pounds. i have a 2 door outer banks sasquatch for reference.
Wish more did a stronger lockable center stack that holds a backpack. Have owned 2 jeeps over the years and always hafta do something aftermarket that’s not as nice…
I also have the grab handles. I wouldn’t recommend using them as a tie down spot. Your ratchet strap is restraining your side airbags. In case of an accident that might be really bad.
have you ever tried to change a screen protector, especially a glass one? They are impossible so you will just scratch your protector and then not be able to replace it. Seems like a waste of time and money, no?
I noticed in this video you do not have splash guards, but I only have 1500 miles on my 2022 Outerbanks 2 door and it is apparent a solution is needed for the splash/rocks that are coming up on the body. So, I noticed you have the factory step and the factory Bronco FRONT splash guards will not fit with that step. The rear install fine. Just looking for a front solution. Hoping to hear from anyone on suggestions!!!
Do you know if the bronco is going to offer a hard top hybrid soon, where the shell is hard on all corners for rack but a canvas portion in middle goes back to feel like open air when windows down without pulling hard top? Great stuff thanks!!
Thanks man! Not that I know of - they have the modular top coming for 2023 which will make the back side windows removable. Mine is a 4 piece and that’ll be a 6 piece. So far that’s all I’ve heard

It's not a bad first car - it's got plenty of power and it's rwd so you'll be able to learn driving dynamics. I just wouldn't try to compare yourself to a 5.0 as it's basically a completely different car based on weight/power etc.

Upbadging is when someone adds a higher trim level badge to their car to make it appear to be a higher trim level. Typically seen with BMW / MB / AUDI vehicles, rebadged to show them as an M / AMG / S@@JacobRDoty
Don't mount the shackles on your front bumper until you use them! If you mount them properly (tighten screw hand tight, then back off 1/4 turn), they can move and bounce and make noise for daily driving, and that's annoying. If you tighten the screw fully, they can seize in place, particularly after they get rain or road salt or if they get used. Just keep them in the storage area by the spare tire. Don't look like a poser and drive around on the streets with them mounted!

Better than the seats! It’s been a few months now and the taco will be filthy, but seats are factory fresh. No real smell that I’ve noticed, either. He mainly hops in dusty from when we go off-road, not soaking wet

I wrapped my ford emblem in a gloss black vinyl and worked amazingly. have had it for about 6 months and no peeling or fading.
I like the tall antenna! It looks retro and it's cool seeing it while driving. However, the short one is neat too.
I agree - I sort of forgot about it but as I'm adding lights on the pillars I wanted to keep it more slim line.
I just don't like how the wiper hits the antenna when you fold it up to wash the windshield. Seems like a design flaw.
Still somewhat hits when you do it with the shorty I have on there a bit - does seem a bit weird though

Just got called by Ford and after 9 months, my bronco is being built! So excited as I was about a week away from pulling the trigger on a Maverick.

The OEM rubber floor mats and rear cargo mats are well-made and a decent price, especially if you buy them at a discount online.

XM uses an internal one, so no effect!
