I honestly think they should just install the same drivetrain as the new f150 2wd that everyone keeps racing. I think it's a 8 or 10 speed and the 5.0L coyote and if they did that with a hybrid.

You can also find a base model accord for like 25k. These broncos are starting at like 45k for the base model! If you want anything half decent you are looking at like 60k for a vehicle with meh performance, a gang of recalls, and Ford reliability which hasn't been so good on the ecoboost engines. Says me who owns a Focus ST. I'm now fiat/jeep trash fan boy either, but it is true that the jeeps solid axle is much better for off roading and is substantially cheaper.
I agree with you 100%. I have the 2023 Bronco Wildtrak Sasquatch with the 2.7 ecoboost gets great MPG for a factory built off roader and the ride is very good compared to my Jeep. It is a great vehicle it has been trouble free and a blast to drive and own. I would do it all over again same exact rig I love it!

My wife and I had a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited at one time, most unreliable vehicle ever. For mostly daily driving, it had major electrical issues and needed a motor change about 80k. We eventually got a Colorado ZR2 which, at 2 weeks new, was trailed with a Jeep club by our, at the time, 17 year old son with a learner's, and only skipped on obstacle which even lifted 2-door Jeeps were scraping front and rear bumpers. We still have the ZR2, but just bought a 2024 Bronco Outer Banks, which don't have the front locker or sway bar disconnect, but did come with 32" tires (unfortunately, Duelers, but it now has 33" Duratracs - don't knock them, we had them on our Jeep, our ZR2 came standard with them, and they have never failed us). We like it for what we got it for, a second winter capable vehicle, to let my wife's Audi RS3 take a winter break, and our son's 1973 VW Westfalia camper van is stored all winter. But the Outer Banks trim, drivers solid. The ZR2 with the Multimatic DSSV shocks (the same shocks on the top Camaro and Ford's FT supercar, among a few other sport vehicles) has more lean in corners than the Bronco. We were concerned about the engine choices, hearing horror stories of both, so finishing off the second week of owning the Bronco, we are not sure how long we will keep it being trading it in.
I can agree with a few of your points, but the hard top, really????? Very lightweight and extremely easy to remove, especially the front two rows! The back piece takes two people but it’s smaller and easier to handle than the huge back piece of the wrangler!
Compare Wrangler Sport to Bronco Sport, the answer is clear. I was considering Bronco at some point, mainly their premium off road packages and to be honest I am not willing to shell out 60K for this when I can get a base version Wrangler or even Rubicon for a lot cheaper.
I will be trading in my 2015 Wrangler Unlimited Altitude (a Sahara derivative) on a Bronco Badlands. I would have bought a new Wrangler, but the 6-speed manual has been discontinued in the Sahara.
@@byronlarson5534 My Rubicon X is awesome. It's vastly improved over my 2015 Sahara Altitude. I'm glad that I made the trade. On a side note, I've never seen a whiter white! I thought my 2024 Ranger Lariat was white until I parked the Rubicon next to it.
I miss the days when you could get a robust pick-up truck that was reliable and affordable. No gimmicks no household options stuffed into it. Just a good freaking truck. Hopefully the car companies take the hint or they will continue to take a hit in sales.
I really completely disagree with everything in this video, I have a 2022 bronco and a 2018 wrangler, neither are base models and both four-door automatics. The bronco is 100x smoother and 100x quieter so The four-cylinder is reliable and absolutely smokes my 3.6 jeep.
I couldnt agree more. I have a 2023 Bronco Wildtrak with the 2.7 V-6 and a 2022 Jeep Gladiator with the 3.6 V-6. First off my Bronco will completely annihilate the Jeep on acceleration and gets much better MPG. The road manners in the bronco are miles ahead of the Jeep. Overall I like Both of them BUT the Bronco is definitely a better everyday vehicle by far.
I experienced the opposite. The 2.3-liter, 7-speed manual in the '24 Badlands Sasquatch was low and seemed to struggle. The 3.6-liter, 6-speed manual in the Rubicon X was much better.
The bean counters that run these companies are more interested in high margin products than in building customer loyalty by bringing in less affluent, younger buyers. Jeep has gotten expensive, the top end models ridiculously so, same with Toyota.
That’s why I waited I got a really good deal on my outer banks. It was 2022 with 600 miles on it for 42,000 and Carvana was selling it. I definitely got the car checked out. I’ve had it for a couple months now and it’s amazing. Just need to wait and find a good deal.
I would also disagree with most all of these points. I own a 2022 Badlands with the Sasquatch package. My wife and I lift the top off. Even with the Sasquatch package ,the ride is much better than I thought it would be. Its a great daily driver as I have almost 40k miles already. I still really like the truck. But hey, you got me to click on it!
Well it would help if you went Apples to Apples in the first place... a 2022 Jeep Wrangler against a 2022 Bronco. I would say that more of the Bronco foibles mentioned here are accurate than inaccurate. I have a 2023 Bronco... the cheesy plastic interior squeaks like a banshee. I've got middle of the road tires and the road/wind noise is still awful. It is true what they say about the candle that burns twice as bright lasts half as long... less than 30,000 MI. and I had to replace the turbo unit. My neighbor up the street has a 2.7 in his Bronco and can't seem to pass a gas station without having to pull in. I've had Wranglers previously and understood from the beginning what I was getting into with them; They were of course not perfect, but I did enjoy them. But I bought into the Bronco hype, and so decided to give it a try. I think you're "fat lady" may have yet to sing. I will soon be driving a 2025 Wrangler 😊
Planned to get a 2-door base model, reminded me of my favorite gen-1’s. Just a fun 3rd vehicle, not a daily driver. Price was acceptable at just over 32k. Early 24, looked online for pricing and found I couldn’t even get a base any more. Had to spend 42k to get the lowest package. Way to go Ford, you ruined another product line with greed.
I own 4 Jeeps, my newest is a 2016 JKU. I have wheeled it a lot with no complaints. My friend got the 21 Bronco, in the shop more than in his driveway and at almost 80,000 dollars? Ouch

The biggest thing I see wrong is the powertrain. Why not put in a V-8 and a larger six cylinder. The price is too high and for what they are charging the quality needs to improve. A V-8 option would really be nice. The 5.0 would really bring some excitement to a heavy vehicle.
V8? Its not 1985. And yes I was driving in 1985. Unfortunatly 9 miles per gallon is history for us all. Everything is 4cyl turbo and 6 cyl turbo or Hybrid.
The Jeep has a solid front axle, which is much preferred by actual off-roaders over an independent front axle, which the Bronco has. The Bronco is a car for "wannabe's" to drive around in town with big tires. Regarding Ford's turbocharged engines vs the 3.6 and especially the high-output hemi 5.7 in Jeeps, at low rpms / creeping offroad, the turbos are just barely spinning, so there is no boost. If you have a 4-cylinder engine with turbo, the low rpm torque is nowhere to be found. Low rpm creeping "requires" a big naturally aspirated engine, which the Jeep 5.7 hemi provides in spades.
I wouldn’t be interested in a mid-sized vehicle in any form. That said, they look cool! The pastel colors (Easter egg) and trim packages are impressive and attractive. But once I saw the price…for what you’re getting… No thanks. I’ll take a F-150 XLT
There's only two ways I would ever have a new Bronco. One, it would have to be a two door only. Two, it would have to be given to me ! Even then I'd pull the engine and drop a 300 CI in-line six cylinder in it.
Well your loss as my 2021 bronco has been problem free. TBH, I am glad sales have slowed as I don't want mine to be as common as an accord or even Jeep.
Small town/city. Each time we go out we see3-5 on the street. Do not know one from another models but none of them cheap. Big wheels and tires all dressed out. $$. Off road? Nah,,,,Profilers love em. Can never see us buying a 3 Cylinder ,,,they have a lot to prove.
Number one- price!! I bought one before the price gouging! Base wrangler is better… and let’s face it, in todays market, for 50k, terrible sound, and terrible interior materials. No leather or heated/vented seats. And bring back the V-8
All of the reasons you listed had ZERO influence on why I will Never Buy the New Bronco. My Reasons. 1. It looks like a jeep. If I want a Jeep I'll damn well Buy a JEEP! 2. It does NOT Look Like a Bronco. See reason 1. My idea of the Bronco comes from the late 70's and 80's model of bronco. Not that shoe box looking wanna be Jeep Grand Cherokee rip off. 3. under powered motor and too many microchips. I can't put a Holly 4 barrel on that monstrosity Hell I can't even find a way to make it run without microsoft word a power point and a windows 8 computer. Heh remember windows 8? Yeah... this Bronco is windows 8 with wheels.
Someone forgot to tell the Ford dealers in Indiana. These people are still thinking they are made of gold. New or Used. If there is someplace in the USA NOT selling them I want to know where?
Everyone getting suckered i to the sport and regretting it. I live in northern canada, everytime i go out, i see atleast 3. Travel from thunder bay to toronto, see an amount i cant keep count of. These things are literally everywhere. And ford are on back order like crazy, they cant keep up with the demand. I bought a 2022 squatch until my 2024 squatch comes in, in February (fingers crossed).
Piss poor fuel economy for the money the Bronco should have a 5.0 v8 to power that drive train and probably would have done a bit better not only on fuel and power but also sales. The 2 door looks more traditional than the 4 door. If Dodge can slap a hemi v8 in a pickup and sell for 51000$ ford should be able to pull off a 5 liter v8 option.
I drive stick. Ford had the best manual transmission ever put in a modern vehicle. Then they deleted it. I will never buy another 4x4 utility vehicle with an automatic transmission. The options to me in the new car market are high end sports cars, Volkswagens, or a Jeep. Once you learn how to control a vehicle properly under it's full power range and potential, you lose the desire to putt around in an automatic that can never do what you want when you want to do it.
who wants to overpay many thousands for a recall machine? ford uses their PAYING CUSTOMERS as their testing division.hence all the recalls all the time.
This is an easy one dealership adds up debt owed ÷ cars on lot =new car prices to customers. A little more for the big up stairs and boom . It's not rocket science . If all out fails sell the dealership to another ducker and since one is born every second here in America it's not that hard to unload and get your old job back.
Gee, could it be the idiotically high prices? Or maybe the insane dealer mark-ups driving the cost of a mediocre vehicle over $100,000? Or could it be the laundry list of mechanical failures, like the tops made out of cardboard that delaminate, fall apart, and leak like pasta strainers. Or engines that piss all their oil out, or transmissions that eat themselves? Or maybe the fact that they just aren't that great off-road, despite claiming to be a Wrangler killer? Honestly, this turd should not cost more than $30,000 even in the highest Raptor trim since the only competition it has any chance of winning is maybe having more problems, and shitty quality than the Tesla CyberTruck.

Latest-look Broncos are all over 🇨🇦 Canadian roads - in BC at least. I see several each day.
I like the Bronco but im buying a Wrangler for the NA V6 ...Bronco turbo engines are not for me
The Jeep has a solid front axle, which is much preferred by actual off-roaders over an independent front axle, which the Bronco has.
$20,000 dealer markups.
I wouldn't take one for one quarter of the price
The price of vehicles is outrageous! I’ll never buy a new vehicle again.
did away with the base model 2 dr no opts manual was about $30k
Its way to expensive for what it is
Tech Triumph has never been to Boise Idaho... A Ford Bronce is like every 5th car on the road...
How many decades of experience building cars does it take to know how to build a quality vehicle?
7 reason not selling. 1) price, 2) price,3)price,4)price,5) price,6)price, and 7) price.
They look cool but I’d much rather have an older Toyota Landcruiser.
I wouldn’t be interested in a mid-sized vehicle in any form.
That said, they look cool! The pastel colors (Easter egg) and trim packages are impressive and attractive.
But once I saw the price…for what you’re getting…
No thanks.
I’ll take a F-150 XLT
nothing with a turbo in 4x4, I don't go over 25mph on most trips.
There's only two ways I would ever have a new Bronco. One, it would have to be a two door only. Two, it would have to be given to me ! Even then I'd pull the engine and drop a 300 CI in-line six cylinder in it.
I"d love to have a Gladiator OR a Bronco, but at these prices, I'll keep my '99 Sierra that has been paid off for 20 years.
Bought my 2023 Outer Banks last October.
Liked it. Now I Love It.
Wanting the 2025. ⚓
I like them but can’t afford one!
Well your loss as my 2021 bronco has been problem free. TBH, I am glad sales have slowed as I don't want mine to be as common as an accord or even Jeep.
Most of the people who thought they wanted one actually wanted a Rav4, at a RAV4 price.
When 41K is the “cheap” version, you know things are bad. Buyers want the “cheap” version but the dealers and Ford won’t give you one.
Price is a good place to start! Ridiculous!
Off road should never Have force induction
I have a 1978 full size Bronco and the first time I saw the new Bronco I thought to myself self: what a rinkydink piece of crap.
Over priced trash!
If there is someplace in the USA NOT selling them I want to know where?
must be giving them away. sure are a bunch of them running around
Old school would sell.
Way way too expensive and they keep breaking down
Without a doubt, the Bronco is the better truck.
Was desirable but got stupidly expensive later.
If you find twist and pull levers too release the hard top then maybe you shouldn't be driving lol
May the reason be that they are 92000$$$$?????
I need mechanical car, may be radio and AC. I don't like any modern tech and cars really...
Too expensive.
So the whole truck sucks!
I am far from an engineer but I believe when off-roading, simple is best.
I drive stick. Ford had the best manual transmission ever put in a modern vehicle. Then they deleted it. I will never buy another 4x4 utility vehicle with an automatic transmission. The options to me in the new car market are high end sports cars, Volkswagens, or a Jeep. Once you learn how to control a vehicle properly under it's full power range and potential, you lose the desire to putt around in an automatic that can never do what you want when you want to do it.
priced way to high, the parts on these break easily and you almost have to wait a year for parts
Build quality is abysmal even for a 30k vehicle, which this is not.
Where was the shocker
Sucks because they are awesome looking with the 35inch tires. Ford needs to go back to drawing board.
who wants to overpay many thousands for a recall machine? ford uses their PAYING CUSTOMERS as their testing division.hence all the recalls all the time.
Edgardo Locks
This is an easy one dealership adds up debt owed ÷ cars on lot =new car prices to customers. A little more for the big up stairs and boom . It's not rocket science . If all out fails sell the dealership to another ducker and since one is born every second here in America it's not that hard to unload and get your old job back.
The way Ford acts, trying to make their "boutique" vehicles seem like they are something special, not worth what they are asking. It's a joke.
They are everywhere here in chile (Santiago and towns) they are selling it lmao
