I didn't realize that rain on your wedding day is good luck in Italian culture. We had a big rain storm the day of our wedding (during the night, our outdoor ceremony was perfect despite the weather forecast saying it was supposed to rain all day) and my husband snuck out while I was asleep to collect it and gift it to me for luck. It's a huge event you've spent months preparing for, but that doesn't mean you don't get to that point and be like "what do we do now? What happens now?!"
