    I'm a big Victron fan so it's exciting to see your video features a Phoenix today! The MultiplusII 48/3000 is amazing when you get into medium sized systems.

      I got a feeling I will eventually gravitate towards those larger inverters. 🤙

      The next step for him would be a single unit system. One large inverter feeding the whole house, and a single battery bank. The multiple solar inputs would be fine, but the efficiency and distribution of stored energy through his different systems in his house would be much improved and he would have absolutely no babysitting to do and no videos to produce anymore.

      @@john0270 A lot of those integrated systems are garbage for inverter idle efficiency so you'll have to be a little more specific if you want to act like you know what you're talking about here.

    • @john0270
      @john0270 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Mark so your saying a single large inverter like a say a victron multiplus is less efficient than half a dozen China inverters....
      I'm just saying it would be better for him to construct a single 10-20kwh battery and feed it with multiple charge controllers and use a single large inverter to power his house, than have multiple batteries and systems of various sizes and demands. Literally this man spends hours a week playing musical chairs with batteries ect.
      The multiplus is ideal with the generator/charging features.

    Awesome stuff on this channel. I just did finish my portable solar cart system. I had a Renogy 200 watt system and 1 Redodo battery. It is now a 300watt with 2 batteries and secured on to a Harbor Freight aluminum cart. I had a blast doing the project and here real soon, I'm going to wheel it into the bedroom and plug in essential things like TV, fan, laptop and 5000 BTU window AC and see how long it'll run those.
    I like the idea of having separate systems for different parts of the house but may need to weigh the costs of solar vs a small 2000 gen/inverter to run a 20 CF fridge.

    looking super ! I love Victron bluetooth apps. they just work well. I got the USB connect as well plugs in same way put in USB on PC direct and works . even can up date firmware if needed. no bugs simple to use. what I did with my cables I use a electricians product called duckseal or simm from home depot . it's black puddy you break and form and is weather-proof and UV resistant . no bugs or water gets threw. most of my cables are in conducts. I like how you point out the little bugs . same trouble hear. thay find the smallest hole and come in . victron has a nice small battery monitor and smart shunt you can add to that or any system. all bluetooth . great way to monitor and control all systems from bluetooth smart phone or tablet . can even connect on line and watch control or adjust from anywhere. super handy . this even allows victron to troubleshoot you system if needed. 🍋

      Love the remote function for for turning off/on , or eco mode. The Victron apps on all their equipment make everything so easy. We have these little fire ants here. Barely visible to the naked eye, but they would exploit any opportunity to get inside a wall and set up home. Plus, as small as they are you usually don't know they are there until they bite, or sting you. Pesky little things for sure. Going to get that smart shunt next! Aloha! 🤙

    This is an ideal system for my needs. It is perfectly suited to power my office and led lights around the home. The consumption and wattage - load output is ideal to run my pc computer, printer, and lights with room to spare. I haven't had a refrigerator for ten years or so, and so I wonder if this system would run a good refrigerator like the one you showed in the past. ( The little cooler type things have proven worthless to me).

      Ill tell you this now! Unbelievable! Best frige you can get runs 0.7 amp runs 1.8 to 2 amps for auto defrost for 10 minutes a day. This is the refrigerator to get ! Whirlpool MODEL # WRT311FZDW02

      For super quiet long life when they deliver it do not plug it in for 24 hrs ! Letting it sit for 24 hrs lets all the oils ,coolent etc drain to their proper place beforehand and no juice permanently in line making noise everyday and shortned life! So get that refrigerator! The lg like the one he had is not that good constantly runs and a 30 minute 8 amp aurto defrost! I know went through several bran new refrigerators lately.

      Only been running it a few days so far, but I like it quite a bit. Will eventually give it a go on the refrigerator and really test out the eco mode. Aloha! 🤙

    You need at least 500w's of solar. And at least a good 40@ MPPT charger. That's what I have on my van with 3 -100@hr lithium batteries. 2000w inverter runs everything in my van, including fridge and microwave. (and on certain occasions, a 5000btu air conditioner)

    After reading a few reviews including yours about Victron's MPPT functions, I finally picked up a 75/15 to test on my 600watt tool shed system. Unfortunately for my use case, the Victron isn't going to work. I'm still going to likely keep it and move it to my mobile 12v solar generator, but I am using the Epever 30amp AN with the load function, which works perfectly in the tool shed. From reading in the Victron forums, it looks like the Victron units that have load connections, often times the load just flat out doesn't work. They have some firmware/software issue that they don't appear to have ever gotten a handle on. Too bad, because If there was enough of a performance increase, I might have been convinced to pay the nearly 2x premium for it, and all the extra $$$ to add wifi to the system, but with Epever's 1/10 cost wifi functionality, cloud monitoring, and access to the API, I don't see myself changing.

    • @ProjectsinParadise808
      @ProjectsinParadise808  ปีที่แล้ว

      Epevers work well too. I still have a few around here even though I have mostly gravitated to Victron. Aloha! 🤙
