Running battery positive to power amp in the trunk. This is a base model C300

Where do you find the power on wire for the amp. Saw a video were they said the power on was the purple wire connected to the factory sub. Dunno how this is possible since it's the negative wire. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I would tap into cigarette lighter fuse for that, think the purple wires are to get signal for your rca.
