Is that the norm, for cars to be on the track, at the same time ? ......looks like they need to do some work on the track, it's fairly rough in a few places, still would be fun !
***** Yes, the Nordschleife is cars and bikes at the same time. All kinds. From mini-vans to Hypercars. The track is in great condition. As it is now, that is the charm of the track. Like that 180 bend with concrete plate (caroesel).
Do you have any mods on your bike? I have a hold over version of this bike in the US, and I really like it, but to me it feels a bit strangled up top (like it needs to breath or a power commander). It’s a great bike tho, and I got the best deal on it that I have ever seen on a new bike. I don’t really want or need more power, but rather it is more of a feel thing where it feels like the engine can be woken up by a slightly different tune. But looks fun

But I am thinking of having my cam timing adjusted when I have to do the regular maintenance interval on the valves along with an auto tuner at the time. I am having lots of fun with it though still. Put over 3000 miles in the first mont and a half
Jonathan Bauer I've had a GSX-R 600 from 1998 for 2 years. And now own a GSX-R 1000 from 2010 since 2014 or so. Like super sports better than a naked. More stable and protected.
Nothing special. Drive like you would on the road. Easy at first to learn the track, piece by piece build up the speed, but keep a safe margin. Most important part, just enjoy and have fun.

Apart from sounding awesome of course :D does it make the engine and parts last longer or? And how does one do it, by feel or? I don't have moto license yet but planning to take it very soon and wondering about this.
+Thomas Patrick Jensen Its less wear on the clutch mainly. It also enables better braking and it helps with getting to know the throttle response on your bike.
+Thomas Patrick Jensen not only maintaing the bike but it stops the chance of the rear locking up under deceleration due to the compression of the engine whilst the clutch is released, if the rpm of the flywheel is of a less rpm than the shaft of the next selected gear the rear end can/does lock up or chatter and the aim of riding is to be as smooth as possible on all variables to be quick and to stay alive.. so not about sounding cool at all mate.

Jonathan Bauer There was an other exhaust on the bike, a bellypan and a smoked screen. Rest was all stock.

+edgsan2010 most naked bikes can lean pretty far. There was still a little bit of play here ;-)

The bike video sucks without rev matching while downshifting.

Hatte auch mal eine GSR 750. Die Fußrasten setzen vergleichsweise sehr schnell auf.

Staan die stepjes zo laag joh? Daar word je toch gek van, elke bocht die krengen op de grond.
Dat zijn niet de stepjes, maar de titanium kneesliders die de grond raken.
