    I have experienced both.
    The Pinhole is extemely painful.
    The gum grafting from the palate with stiching is a walk in the park on a sunny day compared to pinhole.
    After pinhole i had strong pain that went down to the bottom of my teeth that lasted for 2 months. The result was ...the gum looks worse than before pinhole!
    I also got a demineralisation/ cavity because i couldn't brush for 6 weeks and only use antibacterial rinse. I didn't even eat sweets.
    The pain during gum graft surgery is far less than pinhole. Pinhole is extreme torture.
    Gum graft is still an operation but i only felt a managable short pain on the end after 3 hours when the numbing wore off and i was too lazy to tell the dentist altough he told me to say something. I had no pain at all in the evening and no pain the next day altough i didn't take pain meds.
    The antibacterial mouthwash burned like fire after pinhole.
    The same antibacterial mouthwash didn't burn at all after gum graft. Not even on the palate where they took the graft (i didn't take pain meds).
    In comparison to gum graft -》Pinhole is literal torture from hell.
    The gum graft operation was much much better and less expensive.
    The pinhole advertising is a lie.

    I got gum grafting today. Afterward, I watched a TH-cam video about it, and WOW, it was helpful for me to understand how it works! I am recovering right now, and I feel OK, but it will start to hurt soon. I'll take my meds, and it will be FINE!

      Hi Rano, I'm not sure of any specific periodontists in the Toronto area that does this, but you could try Dr. Peter Fritz or perhaps ask their team for a recommendation. If you're ever down near us in the USA, we would also be happy to set something up to talk about this procedure with you! 860.443.2428. Stay well!

      As there are no studies to back this information, we recommend you continue to visit your dentist and have at least 2 dental cleanings a year to take care of plaque buildup and ensure you continue to have good oral health.

    • @d_teex09x44
      @d_teex09x44 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I think this is just for the receding gums. The black triangles are from bone loss, so that would be a bone graft. At least I think that's what the procedure would be!

      I paid 6500€ for pinhole surgery and lost all my money and have a worse situation than before. I didn't find many comments on TH-cam maybe they get deleted. But i searched the Internet and found a thread where many people write they lost thousands of dollars or euros and for nothing. They all regret it. I only found two comments from ppl who said it has slightly improved but hundrets who regret it. I shouldn't have done it, it's one of the biggest regrets of my life and i cry everyday because it's so much worse than before. The dentist said it's a bad result but didn't really care. The surgery itself was very brutal and painful torture. I also found comments from professionals on the Internet who warn people, one doctor had it done on himself and ist warning people not to do it.
      My Front lower teeth got lose from the surgery and i found a comment from another person who wrote the same. The pinhole dentist said they might have been lose before but my main dentist doesn't believe it. No matter how much you wish to find Help: Stay away from this surgery!
