You should re-review him for this past season. Killing it before injury

I think you badly glossed over some really important details of why the draft view of Phillips was split. His performance for Miami in 2020 was really impressive, but it wasn't just the stats as measured by boxscore or PFF grades, it was how he was pass rushing that was really exceptional. multiple pass rush moves and proof on film of him using them in combination, effective rushing both outside and inside of tackle, executing sound NFL techniques in college.
the thing bringing him down was that the concussions he had forced him to medically retire for the 2019 season. I can't help but believe that if that hadn't been the case, if he had missed 2019 for something (relatively) more commonplace like a muscle tear or bone fracture, he would have gone higher in the 2021 draft.
everything you highlighted in this video is really similar to how exemplary he was in his platform year at Miami.

Not making a great case with a 29.4 tackle grade. Or him not even forcing Allen out. That was the opposite side DT who did it. Then Allen still threw it 30 yards down field. Rousseau has been better IMO

The tackle grade is due to his him being dropped back in coverage, he simply can't tackle when he's in coverage yet our former DC Josh Boyer kept dropping him back, his pursuit tackling the QB or RB is nice but when it comes to tackling in the open field in coverage, he just can't do it

You are right though about the opposite DT forcing out Allen, that's Zach Sieler, got a fumble return TD on Josh Allen
