I am going to say it’s impossible to put headers into a lfx because its in the motor shell itself…. down pipes or motor swapping is the only way Headers on a llt makes it as fast as a lfx so its pure sound ( its my opinion not proven)
I was pushing 950 HP with the headers.. but I recently added a BBK decal so probably 1,000 by now To be honest bro I have No Idea 🥲 I have no dyno near me so its very challenging But its definitely increased!
Is there no workaround or anything? I have a friend with a 2012 and she has headers. I’ll have to ask her to make sure it’s a 2012 and LFX engine

@ yeah after looking more into it I saw it’s just not possible unfortunately. But I saw most people with LFX went for the down pipe option
+1 good info ❤
How much horsepower are you making

Still begs the question why bother if you don't have the v8 it's not like it'll sound good which is like 75% of why most people do it
I beg to differ. V6s sound great!
I guess I am the other 25% that did it for performance 🤷🏽♂️
It most definitely sounds good if done right, and a 30hp gain makes it worth it
