Honestly, for the people who are genuinely interested because they want to compare engine options and what your opinion on a V6 vs V8, that's totally understandable, but for the ones who just want be in your business with hating intentions, screw them! Bottom line! Reguardless of your reason, it's not as serious as ppl make it out to be. I've seen V4's smoke V8's and V8's smoke V12's. Your V6 is a perfect example of how you can make it become anything you desire. Much respect bro

Interesting to hear this, I recently bought a 2018 v6 lt1 for my 19th birthday. I'm still recovering from a motorcycle crash I had back in November of '21. When I bought the v6, all my friends made fun of me, asking why I didn't get the ss or at least a v8? I had a 2019 Ducati Diavel and with some modifications, made over 182 hp, which I considered ridiculous for a motorcycle. I had my share of speed and power at such a young age, and I might not ever get that feeling ever again. Before the accident I worked 60hrs a week while in trade school so I didn't even have time to spend my money. I had a lot saved and invested but I didn't want to go all out, so I chose the v6. My friends might make fun of me for it but they don't have nice cars or work for it. I grew up poor so money was tight a majority of my life, so I still have those natural instincts embedded within me, telling me I won't be able to afford the monthly payments, gas, insurance, etc. As much as I loved motorcycles, I won't be able to ride one anymore because my right hand no longer functions properly. But I'm still 19 and want to have fun, and seeing your build inspires me to start with mine, despite all the obstacles I've had. Thank you for sharing this, and god bless you

I have a 2011 camaro rs and I’ve modded it quite a bit now and there hasn’t been one time driving that car where I havnt smiled. Sure a v8 would be nice but you’ve gotta work with what you’ve got. Great vid. V6 gang

The V6 is practical for the young man, but older guys prefer the V8 because of the nostalgia. 30 MPG, and over 300hp imo is having your cake, and eating it too, can’t really beat it.

Real definition of a car enthusiast right there its all about what makes you happy each and every car is unique 💯👌 I started off with a V6 Camaro and that car was the reason why I got into Camaros in the first place a year later I crashed it then I rebuilt it wanted to modify it so I ended up adding a carbon fiber hood and a flowmaster super 10s with some bbk headers later on I felt like the v6 Camaro wasn't enough so I had to upgrade got myself a Camaro SS I still have my v6 and is currently my daily

Good points on the V6 vs V8 Camaro. I'm in a dilemma myself. Should I get a V6 or SS and I can afford both btw. but driving the V6 feels a bit more agile and lighter in daily driving where as the SS is a beast without breaking a sweat you're breaking the law so enjoying a Camaro SS in the real world is near impossible except at the track.
Rudy F very true key points you made, so at that time when I got Prime the SS 5th gen was 40k plus like nowadays, so if you can get the SS you would be able to get more power out of it of course but also means you might be stepping on it more knowing you have that power just like I do now with the V6 at 511hp 🙂 so you have to ask yourself what your plans are with it, you still can make it faster ( V8 ) and not have to always step on it.. either way join us in the Camaro world brother.. 🍻

Bro, great vid, i am coming out of a 2008 Charger RT Hemi, I just recently brought a 2019 Camaro 2LT with the RS package and I went a whole week shopping and comparing insurance because I text drove the 1SS as well and the insurance was ridiculous on top of them being convertible, I went with the 3.6 because I didn’t want to live at the pump like I did with the Hemi and definitely won’t regret my decision, the Maro V6 is a beast of a car at 345Hp which can keep up with some V8’s

The Camaro has been my dream car since I was a kid and thought that KITT was a Camaro (Trans Ams) my fav was the I-roc Camaro in red. This is my first new car. Coming up 10 years with it, all stock. A brother when I 1st got my V6 Camaro 2012 I love it I found your channel and I wanted to go ahead and make my car exactly like yours your big inspiration for what the be sixes can do. Now that I'm upgraded to a v8 SS 2010 Camaro due to hurricane Harlery I was blessed to have a ss the only thing that I can go in do is make it the bumblebee. I bought my 2018 V6 RS Camaro when I was 19 because that is what I could afford! I am now 21 and I go to college so it was the best route. Of course I looked at the SS but at the time it was out of my budget. I love my Camaro so much, these V6s are no slouch. Love the car man, keep it up!
At my age/income I could have bought whatever I wanted but my racing days are behind me. I remember them fondly but it was expensive, lots of broken parts, and a lot of late night wrenching. So I chose the six and love to just cruise and keep it shiny! A lot of smiles per gallon whenever it leaves the batcave.

Unfortunately I'm Only 16 so I'm not yet allowed to drive in Germany. Wanna have a v6 5th gen pre facelift as soon as I can afford. In Germany it's much harder. Fuel is like 1,60$ or 1,70 $ and the rest is expensive too. In Addition to that, the v6 isn't sold here so you have to import it. Pretty hard stuff I guess, but wanna reach my dreams so I have to fight I guess. Have a nice sunday bro!

I have a 2018 Camaro SS and my car insurance is high. I remember my first car was a used 1985 IROCZ I was 16 and bought it myself of course it was used.Now I’m 44 and the insurance on the SS is expensive and I have a perfect driving record no tickets or accidents. I guess it’s the price you pay for the car. I have modifications are mostly cosmetic besides the cold air intake. I love the way you have customized your car. I understand your passion.✊
Well what ppl dont realize is if it wasn for v6 for mustang and Camaro thoses v8 wouldn sell without the v6's that's what thoses v8 guys need realize.

Brian Cusick thank you brother, well the diffuser kit especially in the rear from this widebody barelyyyyy clears anything so I have recently spoken to air lift performance and yes I would like to close the gap between the tires and fenders but also raise the car so I can for sure clear going into gas stations and stuff especially like I just got back home yesterday from California with prime and barely clear anything out there.

I owned a 2012 v6 camaro, 2012 mustang gt, and now 2017 camaro ss. Out of those 3 my insurance is cheapest with this SS. Probably because I have gotten older and a speeding ticket fell off my record from when I had the v6 lol.

It was like that for me bro back in 1995 I had a v6 firebird and my boys had the v8 firebird transam and I was able to do more mods than my boys it was to the point when we went places together people thought I had a v8 and my respect for the v6 went up like crazy

I average around 17 everyday. I don't drive like a knucklehead unless someone challenges me (usually mustangs). I like my SS and ONE thing that I would NEVER do is hate on another person. Great pick up and nice car. I can't stand those fuck boys in the comments talking shit when they don't even have a damn car. V8 this and that, get what you like and makes you happy.

I love my v6 camaro and its only 1.5 seconds slower in a quater mile vs the hellcat or Z28 camaro.
I worked at Chevy. I was a salesman. No one else can talk about the differences as well as I do.
I bought me a 2015 when I was working there. By the way, in south Jersey. I had the money and the opportunity to buy a Corvette or a Hot Wheel edition of 2018 v8 Camaro. I drove tons of different cars over there.

First of all, there is not much of difference in performance and Acceleration. Maybe 10% to 15% better? Is it really worth it?
Second of all, the sound of V8 is TERRIBLE! Most of V6 engines sound amazing! Especially with a decent exhaust. Mine is an SLP. Cheap but sound awesome to me!
If V8 was better, they wouldn't put a V6 on a Ford GT, Nissan GTR, Formula-1 racing cars or other modern super cars!
I will never ever ever ever buy a V8 car. They sounds depressing and STUPID! Like someone is burping deeply.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from V8 cars. Buy either a Tesla Roadster or a V6 twin turbo charge decent sport car if you can afford them. If not, then choose between V6s.

I saw pics of white night on Camaro5 forums years ago :D I drove 1988 Chevy Beretta GT for over 9 years my first new car was 2013 chevy Spark LS Jalapeno metallic AKA SKIDS form Transformers ROTF that's all I could afford ,that got my credit started after 3 years I traded for the 2015 Camaro 2LT Red Rock Metallic I loved it but I always wanted Synergy Green metallic finally found one after searching for over 4 years :D

Quick question what's peoples obsession with cold starts? I've never seen so many videos about cold starts. Until I started researching exhausts.
MRT V1 or V2 axel back. Personally, I went V2. Night and day difference. IF you want it louder, delete resonators and H-pipe and go straight back from the cats to the MRT muffs.

Late to the video, but I bought my v6 (not even RS) about 2 years ago at the age of 23 cause it was something i could afford, being that I am still a college student. At times it gets a bit annoying hearing "oh its not a v8" but i am still happy that i purchased this car. Now I want to upgrade it by getting a cold air intake, tuning it, and getting a new exhaust. A bit nervous cause I dont know if it will void my warranty. Any advice?
