    I'm still trying to find the right settings to cut cardstock. :/ I use Nicapa mats and they are awesome! They stay clean and won't tear paper and won't leave vinyl backing on the mat. Thanks for the tips!

      Use Textured cardstock setting, speed 6, thickness 32 (good for 100 lb cover stock ) like Hammermill digital cover. same settings work for 80-100 lb index (just reduce thickness setting by one

    Thanks for the advice “peel up paper first” to be sure it cut through. If it doesn’t, then what are the options? Do I count on repeating the job from the very point that it ends? Thanks in advance.

    Thank you for the informative tutorials you provide. Question for anyone that can help; the paper discussed in this video is "cardstock" I am looking for cameo 3 settings (preferably material selection) to cut "paper" from "paper pads".

    HELP!!!!! I have tried to cut my regular card stock 80 lb with a ratchet blade on STANDARD AUTOMATIC cut settings and it DOES NOT CUT THROUGH THE BACK OF THE PAPER!!! I have played with the cut settings, changed mats and purchased new mats, bought a new ratchet blade and STILL NOTHING! Then as soon as I insert he auto blade, it cuts (with the automatic cut settings)!!! Can someone possibly shed light on why the ratchet blade will not cut through this standard card stock PLEASE before I throw my machine across the room, lbs! Thanks in advance! :)

      I know you had this problem a year ago and most likely resolved it by now lol but if I may ask, why not just keep using the autoblade?

  • @seanlastnamehere2836
    @seanlastnamehere2836 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The best way to find the right blade depth is to take a scrap piece of paper (the kind you are using) fold it in half and take the blade holder in your hand and run it across the paper with the same force you'd use for an exacto knife. When it just cuts halfway through the bottom layer, you are good to go.

    Hello. I'm a new sub and new Cameo (3) user. Have you ever cut coffee filter paper on any of your Cameos? I have a Cameo 3 and I'm using Silhouette Studio 4.4 Basic on a MacOS El Capitan (MacOS 10.11.6). I've searched your page and the internet and I haven't found a clear answer yet, such as the kind of mat, blade depth, force, and speed. Thanks.

    Boa noite, tudo bem? vim do Brasil com pouco tempo, não conheço ou material daqui, que papel branco você indica para imprimir em impressora jato de tinta? No Brasil, além dos fotográficos brilhosos e opacos, você pode usar um chama que não é encontrado e com esse nome aqui. Me ajude, por favor?
