Thank you, but in this video I'm using Cameo3, if you're using Cameo4 you should get the sketch pens with the black body. The ones I used are being discontinued.

OMG this is the most informative video on how to use the Cameo 4, you explained everything so clearly and showed me how to do it all! I just ordered my Cameo 4 but i was nervous about using the software and how it worked so I wanted to see it in action, but theres very few videos on using the software. I love that you showed so many different ways you use the markers too, thanks for all the ideas, just subscribed to your channel 😘
BTW, i found your channel because i realized all the good Silhouette Cameo videos on TH-cam were Latino youtubers and in Spanish, I watched a few that were helpful and i understood easily, but i just want to say that i love that your channel is both in Spanish and English so I can learn more Spanish as well!

How do you get the silver text on black cardstock? by selecting blue?
Hi, red and blue are the colors that represents the tool that you are using. Tool1 is red and tool2 is blue.

If you only want one stroke, you need to use sketch fonts. Yes, you can change cut file to sketch.

Unfortunately, I am using a Cameo 4 and I am not able to reproduce what you are demonstrating, as with Cameo 4, the tool holder n° 2 does not accept Sketch Pen !

Hola Avanti! You have very nice projects.Confections and novelty items. I dont own any Sil-Cameo and Its 2020 now and there's a 4th Cameo out now. So which one should I get? Cameo 2, 3, or 4?. I plan to use mainly on spray painting stencil,silkscreen printing and maybe bike stickers and decals. Also what kind kind of papers to use for the purpose I mentioned. Thanks.

Hi, you need to upgrade your edition to the Designer or Business edition. You can go to Silhouette website and buy the upgrade.

What makes the sketch pens different than a regular color printer?
I’d say the look; remember that most home printers won’t print on cardstock.

Does it matter which tool the pen is put into please? I am using a cameo 4 and I am finding that the pen doesnt lift between each letter or if I lift it up a bit it wiggles around? Thanks

Hi, I don’t know, maybe try writing something in paper before placing it in the machine. Also maybe the issue is the paper you’re using.

After you press "send", do you see any red line in the preview? Red is tool1, and blue is tool2.

I feel like it's better to use a program like clip studio paint or photoshop where you can draw anything and transfer it as a png to the silhouette software. The pens seem kinda gimmicky
Hi, not everyone that gets a cutting machine is familiar with design software, but if you do, you probably are going to use what is best for you. 😊
@@AvantiMorocha1 I definitely recommend drawing software because you wont be limited to single colors and it shares alot of similarities to the silhouette program. It's the same as drawing on paper but on a graphics tablet. I use like a cheep 50 dollar one and 'clip studio paint' is about 50 bucks also. It gives alot more options for editing and once you save the drawing as a png you can transfer that image to any type of paper such as heat transfer and label paper. Heres an example of what i mean but with a Mario png drawing found on the internet:

@@AvantiMorocha1 shouĺd i use the same paper for creating boxes, invitations and business cards.... i got the machine not sure what type of paper i should or shouldnt use.
