- Today we are joined by @MartiBlagborough , @Ryanrampage2nd , @AY-Audits , @TheGwentAuditorTGA and @West Audit Report as we take a special look at IPB Group, 11 Sedling Road, Wear Industrial Estate, Washington, Tyne and Wear. NE38 9BZ.
On Friday 21st April, @RandomOutings published a video documenting his visit to this place and it left a lot of similar content creators disgusted regarding how he was treated by staff at IPB.
Our visit was intended to put this matter to bed and to obtain an apology for @RandomOutings and to make sure that this company would not be abusing photographers and drone fliers in the future.
Upon arrival we where shocked to find at least 10 posters placed on the outside and INSIDE of the building which contain personal information about myself.
My full name, a photo of me and my wife and my work address where all visible on this poster.
We spoke to many people nearby, none of which knew anything about the posters.
The police arrived to keep eyes on but didn't wish to get involved, even once a gate was closed which obstructed free movement across a public highway.

They've gone ****ed up by having the posters inside their premises, at least before this they could claim it was third party but not if its inside their locked office. Please update us about the lawsuit when you can DJ, great audit as usual ! It's also a shame to see they officers so defensive rather than genuinely trying to help a member of the public, you could see them raging when they got dismissed lol

So disturbing ! First, the published posters of your personal details, wife’s photo and work address. (I hope it isn’t a leak within your company), Second, the unwashed slob who attempted to play DJ and get you copyrighted and lastly, the totally delinquent police officers….that exchange was sadder then sad to me, because , they just reinforce again and again how the police are NOT there for the people. All very depressing.
Breach of GDPR. They're in serious shit, both the company and the individual who chose to put the posters up. The fines for this are massive.
@Sad But Mad Lad Wow, you share their ignorance. GDPR applies to companies and in this case they have collected and shared data that can identify an individual. An image would not do that, a name would not do that and an address would not do that. Put any two pieces of data together and the company is legally obliged to protect it. In this case they have three pieces of date and far from protecting it have made it public putting them in direct breach of GDPR. Not only have they done this with DJ they have compounded the offence by identifying his wife through her image and address.
The fines for this are huge and will apply to the idiot who though this was a good idea as GDPR regulations also apply to individual employees.

I did request that Random keep us informed of any legal action taken by the police. I think that this needs to be reported as it may have a bearing on any actions.

Well we all thought this bender company and their employees were scummy A.F, now this confirms it.
Under GDPR, organisations who fail to comply and/or suffer a data breach could face a fine. In the most serious cases, this fine could be up to 17 million euros, or 4% of a company's annual turnover... you go for it DJ... do it for Random..
Not sure there is a data breach here. We haven’t seen the poster. For all we know they could simply have posted details of DJ’s company name and address which are freely available and in the public arena. That is not data they have in their company records but something which anyone can access.
These mass revenge audits are fricken brilliant and need to happen a lot more often

The original video by Random Outings has been deleted. There was an edit of the original made by another auditor which has now also been deleted. I have saved a copy of the edit on my channel, I don't know how long it will remain. I would like people to download this edit and share as much as possible so it cotinues to remain on youtube.
IPB removed the google pins from Unit 11 and Unit 12-13. They also changed the directors contact details on Companies House (prior filings maintain old details including home addresses). The 2012 video and website not available. Formed March 2005, 2012 purchased Unit 12-13 used as their testing division.
Wear Industrial Estate developed about 1968 in conjunction to the Goodyear Dunlop tyre factory (1968-2006). Goodyear Dunlop closed July 2006 and redeveloped for BAE (2012) and Rolls Royce (2014). Several unit listings stated built 1968. Sedling Road services the Wear Industrial Estate and publicly maintained including radial side streets. Sunderland Council notes roads are adopted as part of development. In addition to Sedling Road, six public footpaths access the industrial estate. One public footpath runs between the two IPB buildings.

Wow, that is shocking. This company is in big trouble. Breaching data like that. How sad that they had to lookup and stalk for your details. If im ever down that way i will have to pay them a visit in support
People don't sue because company's can get your name and address and attack you but they have your details posted including your wife. You must sue them. The guy was totally unhinged to start with. PJ Audits takes his car and that ended with him getting surrounded by a pack of wild dogs and getting beaten up. He had a broken arm at the time, so real scumbags. People are crazy now days.
I think a conversation with the ICO could be in order followed by some civil action maybe.
They need to be notified immediately.

I think they did him a favour ... he realized he was being set up for further 'sessions'. He went away with handshakes and smiles ... far more positive.
He didn't have to pay for that.
I apologised at the earliest opportunity but as you saw, it looked liked an IPB employee at first glance. I tried my best to explain and make him feel at ease until the doubt surfaced again. It was a fast moving situation but I know for sure we ended the interaction in a civil manner with him having a lucky escape from dealings with that company.

The directors registered addresses have been changed on 23 April to a service address but if you look at the 2016 Annual Return it shows what I assume are their home addresses.

Right?? Random outings is one of the most lovely blokes alive and this almost made me cry seeing the love from DJ and crew.
I left a 1 star review after Random Outings video of this place, was going to leave another review [from a different device (Google acc.)] But it seems they've vanished from Google 🤔
So far, we know that they are hiding a thief, they're breaching data protection... It makes you wonder what else they're hiding...

@@byteme9718 ICO have no powers to award payouts but GDPR gives you the right to obtain compensation, but you would either have to agree a sum with the defendant or take them to court

This is where a business thinks they have the right to attack a freedom that is protected under law. It's inexcusable that businesses are scared of a camera but when it comes to a breach of privacy, then action is needed under what laws are available . This is one where I will be awaiting a update.

Blocking the public highway (criminal offence)
Multiple breaches of heath and safety at work and fire regulations. (Multiple options of fines and if anyone got hurt would be corporate negligence)
They have left themselves open to be sued by your company, your wife alongside yourself and given it's malicious in nature the director will be lucky to stay out of jail let alone still be able to be a director especially if Random Outings joins in with you.

amazing that despite the human rights act specifically stating self expression is protected, that people go even further than not just trying to deny your rights, but impose on them also. i really hope there is a usable legal path in this, it's all to easy to cover up or delay action and make accountability impractical.

There are too many comments here for me to read them all but surely I can’t be the only one thinking it’s very suspicious that these posters have appeared in time for your visit. Who knew you were coming ? Why would they assume you were coming, you are nothing to do with the other guy ! So you being targeted DJ and the timing of it is very odd. When you saw the outside ones I immediately suspected one of the lads with you I’m sorry to say. I thought one of the other auditors was up at 5am and down there putting up the posters ahead of your planned meeting with the guys to make this film, therefore ensuring a reaction from you and some great footage. Then you saw them INSIDE the building which dispelled that suspicion almost completely. I can’t make sense of it. If it’s not someone that knows you, how would they be able to collect that info. I’ve tried googling you just out of interest and found nothing. I smell a rat somewhere 🤔
