Great tutorial, just what i needed! I always make my basses and kicks overcomplicated, maybe the key is to just use a simple sine wave, hehe. Really hope to see more stuff from you :)
Love the tutorial, but those are not "rumbles" but just regulard synth basslines! Still dope tips. Techno rumbles you make from the kick itself, by adding reverb/delays or sampling it in a unique way!
Thank you brother! :D Yeah I upload some stuff but tbh I'm not happy with most of the music I have put out and how I've marketed it. My current artist name and image isn't very relevant to how I feel today about my music. And I also made the mistake of advertising my music to my friends xD (most of whom don't even listen to techno or house lmao). Now, spotify says that people who listen to my music, also most often listen to some satirical trash polish rap. I plan on rebranding my artist image soon, I think I'll just start with a new artist name. (if you have any ideas, let me know xD) In the meantime tho, I'll give you a link to a track of mine that I'm the most proud of: open.spotify.com/track/4zjX9s0SUQIftTVI8tq3qG?si=ede587fabb324d51

Yeah same!! It's fascinating. The first time I learned about it was in Chlär's course on SeeDJ. It checked out when I read some more about it online. The course is amazing, though if you're looking for more knowledge like this, it's not there. I'm pretty sure Chlär studied Acoustics or some other Audio/ Music university degree and he just mentioned it casually in the course. Sooo I guess go get a University Degree in Acoustics?? Lmao I'll make sure to share more tips like this when I learn about them tho!!
Now that I think about it, Chlär does go more in-depth into some ways how Bass frequencies behave, but it's not what the course is mostly about. Just wanted to clarify and let you know :^)
I know the Vengenance Essentials House packs are pretty good overall, not just for techno but dance music in general. And I think TKNVLT has some free sample packs specifically for Hard Techno as well. Though, you can get VERY far with the basic 909 kicks and some saturation
i dont get how the fffffcking session vieuw works god damit hahaha can make a video about it i can recrate this sound but recording the diferent baselines doenst work and defently no idea how i can use those recordings after in the session vieuw hope you can help and thanks for sharing your knowledge / or do you know a good video where i can learn the basic of session vieuw
Yo man, just make sure you select the channel you want to record in the "MIDI From" section. (it should be set to "All Ins" by default). And make sure u click the little dot at the bottom so it lights up red. From there, the squares in the clips should turn into circles. Just give one of them circles a click and it should record. And u can also record into arrangement view if u dont like session view. Let me know if that helps!! :D
