I've read the book and I learned a lot as well as applying it to my life when approached by guys in the dating scene or even if it's just simple interest. Reading is nothing if you're not understanding what you're reading is what my dad tells me. It's like studying for a test but you're not trying to comprehend the material you're just doing the mhm process, highlighting each chapter, and writing down the keywords. You get into class to take the test and while reading the paper you cannot remember not even one question from the test review. The lessons you took will only stop replaying itself once you face a similar situation and apply what you learned. Can't expect change if you're keeping the same habit's but with different men.
So true. And I'd also add to change up your daily routine - if you go to the same coffee house, library, bookshop etc constantly you're not going to be seen by somebody who doesn't go there. Mix it up, that's the trick. x

I have tried to live with expectations but it just doesn't work. You always end up disapointed or not fully happy. I think you should do what you got to do and react according to your personality, who you are and what you want because stuff never happen the specific way you want them to happen🤷♂️
