so a few things of note about gregtech you should be aware of. 1. use ae2 it was designed with ae2 in mind not refined storage in mind so will be alot easier to automate with ae2. 2. don't cross chunk boundaries with any of the multiblocks it can do 1 of 2 things cause immense amounts of lag or just stop functioning period. 3. automate as much as you can. both passively and actively. I'm not sure you'll read this but I know you love tech mods and if you actually try and get through the ages and stick with it you'll most likely find that Greg tech is really a lot of fun. lots of crafting sure but it's lots of automating stuff. stuff does take a lot of time in the beginning but well worth it. go for that gregstar
GT: M is based off of GTCEu, and in my 500h of playing this mod I have never had any issues with multiblocks breaking while crossing chunks, except for 1 visual bug with the texture of the assembly line research input hatch The bug is fixed when you chunkload your base, which you should be at all times while playing So it doesnt really matter that its not chunk aligned
I love all of the references in Mahou Tsukai, classic literature and anime included. The Reality Marble is a part of Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works. The spell Fallen Down is from Overlord. The explosion staff (the name I forget) is from KonoSuba. It tickles my brain and makes Mahou Tsukai one of my favorite magic mods.
A little suggestion, try making a Star Trek style transporter room for your Waystone to reside in. That way, instead of having a bland room for your Waystone, you can have a full-fledged transporter pad for it. You could even have a space-villager manning the controls if you want!
Super Hyped you are getting into the world of GREG... It opens up tons of new possibilities and packs to play in the future. You can now play some masterpieces like Nomifactory, GTNH and other expert packs!
I've seen it mentioned but I think it's worth saying again, that Gregtech machines don't like going across chunk boundaries. It's something that I'm wondering about if you knew because working on 11 block spaces with one space gap might math out with 16x16 chunk areas, but I think it's best to make sure you know it's something you'll have to design your base around.
I love the design and the modular concept. It's brilliant and I wish I had thought of it. I had no idea about the schematics either, I'd probably have used the copy paste tool, but that's a really cool alternative that stops you from having to go back and forth. Using the reality marble instead of something like the mining dimension also was cool, really shows how well you know the mods in the pack
with gregtech i really recommend using machine covers in combination with AE interfaces. I've found this to be a lot less laggy when wanting to put specific amounts of items/fluids into machines than laserio for example. Also AE subnetworks are super useful for automating multiblock machines!
you're still thinking with gravity cody. you can make connector spots above and below your starting room, and make your station have 3D elements to it.
"I am the bone of my mine" "Data is my body and lag is my blood" "I have created over a thousand worlds" "Unknown to death nor known to life" "Have withstood grind to complete many Mods" "Yet, those hands will never break anything" "So as I pray, UNLIMITED CRAFT WORKS"
Just a random thought that I'm not sure will it work or not. Does the schematicCannon connect to a drawer controller and use blocks from different drawer? If it does, you might be able to get away with a wall of drawer with material, then use entangle block to entangle the drawer controller, then you will have a portable storage for the cannon.
Some minor tips for playing with gregtech: You can muffle ANY machine by hitting it with a gregtech hammer You can auto-output crafts from machines back into the pattern provider (you can find this in the gui on the left side, you have to enable "allow input from output" You can put an interface next to a machine and use a conveyor/pump as a cover to pull items/fluids from that interface into the machine, no need for any pipes When you set up and EBF, it will have maintenance issues, to see what issues there are there is a small rather hard to spot symbol on the top right side of the GUI of the machine. A create farm with rubber trees combined with a centrifuge is a very easy way to get yourself some rubber early on Quite a few items have different recipes, like the resistor (which you will make early on) which requires a certain material, try to check other pages of that recipe, usually there is a way to get more of the item for less inputs There are a couple of questlines in the LV ages that can prove very useful, like the "passive oxygen line" oxygen will be used a ton you WILL have to rebuild certain set ups, as most of them will become to slow or you get a bettter/cheaper/more efficient way to produce certain things (Like Sulfuric acid, which requires 3 singleblock chemical reactor, but once you get the Large Chemical reactor you can do this in 1 craft) If you plan on storing fluids in ae2 disks make sure to partition them in the cell workbench, Try to enjoy gregtech, it's actually a very interesting and fun mod to play with. If you put the "grind" aside it's actually one of the few tech packs with ACTUAL progression, the farther you get into the ages (LV, MV,HV, EV, IV etc) the more interesting things you will be able to build, I believe IV unlocks some great multiblocks that you can use for ore processing for example. It is also very well integrated with AE2, as there are stocking input busses/hatches as well as ME output busses/hatches, which connect to ae2 directly.
Hey, I dont really watch your videos anymore, but every time I see this series I read it as ‘ALL THE 9 MODS’ 💀 Kinda funny to me, might need a re design for the thumbnails
I am the bone of my Greg.
Grind is my body, and Lag is my blood.
So as I pray, Unlimited ATM WORKS!

ive read your comment while hes building the 11x11 grid............ disaster is upon us xD
I hope he'll see this...

The whole morgan advancements are jojo refrences
@@destroyer99612 is it? Interesting. I thought it was rooted in the King Arthur legends, the lady in the lake, Excalibur and whatnot.
@@ariecos05caliburn is Excalibur, Clarant is the sword used by mordred to kill Arthur:)
GREG FINALY
I am so happy you're starting Gregtech
A little suggestion, try making a Star Trek style transporter room for your Waystone to reside in. That way, instead of having a bland room for your Waystone, you can have a full-fledged transporter pad for it. You could even have a space-villager manning the controls if you want!
You should call it “The Gregstar” and build it to look like the deathstar.
Super Hyped you are getting into the world of GREG... It opens up tons of new possibilities and packs to play in the future. You can now play some masterpieces like Nomifactory, GTNH and other expert packs!
Im have been playing gtnh for a week or so and it is wonderful
Its not as grindy as people think
IGBLON effect has become full force
Finally Greg tech let’s go
You should have been more chunk alligned as greg machines crossing chunks are a bit more laggy, and you will need a lot of gregtech machine...
it is not just laggy, it can brake them
As others said, gotta make sure multi blocks are chunk aligned and not cutting in between two of them
Watching 2 of my favorite creators playing gregtech maby i should start myself
You will be gregified do not resist
The Gregification is imminent.
Greg is calling.
I've seen it mentioned but I think it's worth saying again, that Gregtech machines don't like going across chunk boundaries. Chosens Space Station builds are getting better and better as the next Allthemods packs roll out
Took me a second but I am pretty sure the reality marble is a reference to Fate anime franchise.
Correct.
Just as I asked, mostly!
Thanks!

Well, I need to watch the series now!
I clicked on this video at the speed of live
this man would do numbers playing factorio with those modular bases
Greg comes out of the shadows… Rumbling is heard in the distance…

Interdimensional Greg Station
also as some people mentioned you can use ae2 to automate gregtech but refined storage is perfectly fine too
Yes, just name the station greg station or maybe add a word before or after!
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO WHAT WEVE ALL BEEN WAITINF FOR 1000000000/10 episode
Nothing like being home having good tea and watching chosen ❤
Yaaaaaay!!! Hey there is a void dim now too. Just put telepad down in the end now and it gives you void dim
Hello Captain, Welcome Aboard.
Just finished playing some Subanautica and i open a Chosen's vid to see he will build subnautica in Minecraft !
with gregtech i really recommend using machine covers in combination with AE interfaces. I've found this to be a lot less laggy when wanting to put specific amounts of items/fluids into machines than laserio for example. Also AE subnetworks are super useful for automating multiblock machines!

Chosen Station: Greg Deck
And so… the pain and agony begins.
Welcome to GregTech.
The Magnum Opus of Tech mods.
Lets go! The grind for the Micro Universe Orb can start
i have a name suggestion for the station: "GT: New Horizons" (you know, if you know)
Since the space station is based off Subnautica, calling the space station Altera would be ironic
you're still thinking with gravity cody.
you can make connector spots above and below your starting room, and make your station have 3D elements to it.
I can see a combination of Tetris and Borg Cube emerging from the modules...
Hello fellow Star Trek watcher!
"I am the bone of my mine"
"Data is my body and lag is my blood"
"I have created over a thousand worlds"
"Unknown to death nor known to life"
"Have withstood grind to complete many Mods"
"Yet, those hands will never break anything"
"So as I pray, UNLIMITED CRAFT WORKS"
All those swords in the reality marble may be a Bleach reference, I love Mahou Tsukai
Subnautica you say im intrigued
DEEP SPACE GREG
Gregtech new Horizon next
Greg? Greg is love, Greg is life. Play GregTech: New Horizons.
I look forward to these videos everyday! Thank you so much for all you do !
Name for the Station: "Greg, Universe of Madness"
This is just amazing...
I feel icarus would be a fitting name for the space base.
if keeping the colors of the station you built, i think those dynamic edge lights (from simply light) could actually fit in decently
YES CHOSEN YOU shall imbark to please the gregtech gods
call the station the international greg station
LETS GREGGING GO
best grid size will be 16x16 for sure; you need most if not all multiblocks to be chunk aligned
Be careful to avoid chunk borders with Greg multiblock machines
love that fate things
i didnt think someone made UBW on a mod, from now on i love mahou tsukai
Congratulations for your 600k subs!!!
The gregification has begun
I do hope advanced rocketry makes a return
Looks so cool, man! I wish i could build like you
Gonna go a different route than I’ve seen so far and suggest a name based on my one of favourite Sci-Fi series:
Gregylon 5 😁
Yaaay gregtech. Half an hour didn't build not even a steam boiler ahahahahahaha
