Thanks! My pillars are very faded, with most of the paint peeled off, and I'm going to spruce them up with this tutorial before I get my windows tinted.

You're welcome Chris. It made a huge difference on my car and now that we are through summer I'm happy to say the heat did not have any effect on the refinish work.

Paint them while still on the car. Frog tape, sandpaper and newspaper is all you need. Make sure to wipe down the panels with rubbing alcohol to take off all wax, ArmourAll residue. Allow to dry and paint.

This trim piece popped off my car and is gone, any ideas on finding a replacement?

Mine came off once in a car wash in my 07 impala. The tabs broke so I just used 3m tape where the tabs were. It hasn't moved since and I still go through car washes.

I have a 2005 Chevy Impala and I'm trying to figure out how to replace the Top Molding of the Front Driver's side door. I bought the OEM piece from a Chevy Dealer (for $125, ugh), but they want another $70 to install it. I'm hoping it's a decently easy job. Any suggestions on how to replace it? Again, not the inside window molding, but the weather-stripping trim that goes along the top of the door itself.

Great video, I’ll just vinyl wrap it it’s faster cheaper and last longer/ no damage to tabs

I'm gonna take mine off and just carbon fiber wrap them. It's gonna be high adhesive vinyl wrap 😊 so it will be permanent
