Raised in New Mexico & Texas, always near Whataburger. I live in Indiana now, and few things make me home sick quite like thinking of this beautiful restaurant. My go to was the Monterey Melt, large fries, spicy ketchup, and a large milkshake. I miss it so!
While I love Whataburger, especially a number 5, whatasized with unsweet tea, their ketchup is a thing of absolute beauty. It has just the right spices, not too much sugar, and a wonderful tangy aftertaste. it is Ambrosian! Whataburger truly is one of the things I miss most about the DFW area.
I’m born and raised in Texas, but have been living in New York City for a year now. There is nothing more about Texas that I miss, only Whataburger. I went every Saturday night during my college years and have been going since I was a little boy. Never change, Whataburger. Never change.

They do customize well. When my wife and I went vegan, I was initially sad to think of how I wasn’t going to ever enjoy a visit to Whataburger. Last time I was in Texas I made sure to go there. I had a float with a cheese burger and fries. I know I'm plain.
Only been to one Whataburger, about 15 years ago in Lawton Oklahoma. It was one of the worst burgers I've ever had because the meat tasted like it was mostly soy filler instead of beef. Never been back.
I love how everyone in the video except the narrator calls Whataburger, Waterburger.
whataburger is SUPER delicious, i just wish i could eat burgers more often because i get sick when i eat any fast food burger
I will occasionally ask for h Monterey or Chop House Cheddar. Unfortunately, because its a special sauce, the Chop House Cheddar is not really available. But they make the peppers for other menu items so the Monterey Burger is available but you have to ask.
Also I can only finds like two or three in-n-Outs in my town. How are they overtopping Whataburger?
In N Out has a better company culture, and they manage to hire people that care.
Doordashing me some whataburger now, thanks mashed!!!
Im a vegan and my fave whataburger is the Double Meat Whataburger Jr. with Cheese.
There were two whataburger in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico and it was my favorite burger restaurant, is a shame both clossed long time ago, now I miss it :( fortunely some time ago Red's (a high cuality burger chain born in Mexico) came to take its delicious place and it is cheaper and tastier than Carl's Jr
They have good burgers. Nothing like in n out. But by far a good one!
The what~a~burger was the best burgers..that use to be around Carolina...but most are closed down. They had cherry sundrop.
