All of your videos I have watched have the same info like taking white vinegar n eating food in vege protein fat carb order or eat sugars with high fat ...... I love it's new information but as feedback I feel I just heard the same things over n over again. It's not new content n videos are long
@@anarkali_217 ... today's show is the essence of Jessie's scientific work and from 'eating in the right order' next to always drinking 'Apple Vinegar' first depends the whole success for each individual. I don't think that can be said often enough. Just take a look at some of the questions that are asked: They are constantly repeated and it's only logical that Jessie has to repeat 'this essence of her science' ... right?
Have you tried lowcarb diet? Ive tried it. But was not able to sustain it because i am too busy to prepare lowcarb meal. I think this will be nice idea. I can still eat any food. It’s the order of eating that matters.
If there's an order then it should be more like ; 1-Fats 2-Proteins 3-Veggies 4-Carbs And to eat fruit you should wait at least 2 hours (for me 3 hours)
Am I the only one to be (pleasantly) surprised that these hacks work so well?? I'm still in the introductory phase but the bottom line is these "hacks" are doable. I'm a 73 year old diabetic and for the first time in a long time I feel better! Let's pray the next blood test makes the process complete!👊🤛👍🙏
@@alsimon4722 about a month and a half ago I was diagnosed with diabetic. I’ve lost about 15 pounds but I’m gonna follow this and I hope it really works.
Outstanding! As a professional chef, no conspiracy... This is exactly why bread is first, free or unlimited! Restaurants don't always know why they do it. They thru time, learned people will eat more, and more likely order dessert. Over the last 50 yrs, salads were served first. People were healthier. Even today's weddings, banquets and get togethers. Salads are tecniqually served first... Nope! At the very beginning of the food line or table setting? Warm crusty bread or breadsticks served with butter. People will choose this almost guaranteed over salad. Ghrelin app is already there. Awesome educational video. I know you already know the information I shared. Very Nice Glucose Revolution!
App is short for Appetizer. Ghrelin is the hunger hormone so after bread sticks the appetizer? Our sugar spikes and the hormone kicks in and says to our bodies more and more!@@jeannefietek1721
What I like about this order of eating is that by the time I’m done with veggies and proteins, I already feel full and don’t even feel like eating the carbs.
@@AlfDaggthat’s the thing. I don’t want a “hack”. If we have to eat things in a specific order something is not right. Out there in nature we were not trying to find out in which order we are supposed to eat the components of our meals. So carnivore it is!
@annettefromhage2554 out there in nature, we were using tons of energy to survive so that glucose spike wasn't an issue. If it's working for you, great. Most people enjoy lots of variety in their diet and don't want only meat.
As a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDCES), I have been telling my patients to do this! Thank you for helping me educate them even more as to the science behind it!
This. Actually. Works. It’s astonishing for me, someone who is always hungry, like ridiculously hungry right even after eating a whole meal. I fail at every diet because I’m always hungry for no damn reason. This is a game changer.
I learned from Dr. Liu's TH-cam channel, she is an infectious diseases Dr in Southern California, channel is Healthy Immune Doc (I think) that salt/sodium increases our hunger cravings. I cut this out, and reduced my food cravings.
Not only is she smart and helpful, but she's stunning, she moves with so much grace and elegance. She reminds me of Lady Diana(R.i.p) Thanks for all your work and the information you provided us with. I have PCOS and hypothyroidism, but I'm also hypoglycemic and the list goes on and on but thanks to your videos my health is taking baby steps. She has helped me more through a screen than all the "specialists and nutritionists" I've seen throughout my life. Thanks a million for everything you're doing for us. 🙏🏽
Thanks! 2:54 Study 2015. 75% less glucose spike . Order of meal of the experiment : lettuce, brocoli with butter, chicken, bread and orange juice > veggies, proteins and fat, then carbs is the order 9:13 veggies list 9:58 proteins list 10:31 fats : palts, ghee, coconut 11:03 carbs: bread, rice, sugars 11:50 why it works?
I think one intrinsic advantage of this approach is that, if you focus on starting with veggies every meal, than you also make sure you actually eat some veggies every meal too :)
Do you use a CGM, I found that if I eat the carbs the next day my average levels are higher. The method defiantly stops spikes but seems to spread the the lowered highs, if that make sense.
Not sure how I found this channel but I feel blessed that I have. You are definitely serving and blessing us with your knowledge, fashion and beauty. Thank you!!
I have pcos, and it creates insulin resistance and inflammation in the body. I have started taking Cod liver oil recently, and it's making a noticeable difference.
you mean our 'English' education system? the same system that suppressed this knowledge and wisdom born in India thousands of years ago? I think you have a point here
This woman is brilliant. Since I begon to follow her advise in my meals, I discovered that I do not have cravings of sweets, I sleep much better without any pills and I also saw a change in my skin, I look better than before. Thank you.

I am a 31 year old female who recently got diagnosed with fatty liver (found out on march 6 this year ) with a history of PCOS. I literally practiced whatever she's saying in this video right since the next day after finding out and also combined it with intermittent fasting (12:12) and stayed out of processed food, sugary stuffs and take outs (i ate only home cooked food). For exercise, i did alternate days of weight training at home with dumbells and kettlebell. Today is 20th day. This is what i got in return: 1. Cravings reduced drastically. Of course you must not starve yourself completely and eat more of nutritious stuffs. I was not longer constantly hungry. 2. My energy improved a lot and my back pain reduced. 3. I lost freaking 3 kgs in 20 days. No fad diets, no supplements. Drink lots of water btw! Whenever feel like snacking drink water, or sip on herbal teas. I used to struggle with weight loss since a year. Only when i made drastic changes to diet, i am seeing results.
How did you eat the food it looks like you are from India how did you eat the typical desi food even I am thinking because we eat roti in almost every meal. How can I eat roti alone and eat sabzi in the beginning?
I was diagnosed with type two diabetes October 2023 a few weeks ago. I ate fish and chips with no salad before hand, my sugar spiked to 12.7 within 30 minutes. Last weekend, I went to the same fish and chip shop ordered the same meal but before I ate it, I had a garden salad, only a small one. It took over an hour for my level to reach 8.4. Thank you so much I use your hacks every day now I loved your book
@@hajartohar9077 I think it was around 20 minutes, the fish and chip shop was in another town 45 minutes away. They don’t sell salads. I made it at home and ate it in the car on the way.
My husband is type 2 DM, under medications for more than 15 years. He's usual post prandial is always higher than 140 but after following these hacks lowers to 85, 105 .... It's amazing
It makes sense because a lot of vegetables have fiber. Eating the fiber first will slow down the glucose absorption. Thank you for sharing this amazing study.
I have dt2..eat 30 years no carbs,or almost zero..now need to start eating again in this order.. My suger is still to high..i use insuline 4 times a day.I set all my hope and effort on this methode.. Thanks Jessie you give me hope to get my life back..I feel in prison.. Thanks for all who made a comment before..so I don't feel alone . I m dutch excuse my simple English. X
Hi from California. Dr. Liu's TH-cam channel "Healthy Immune Doc" (she's an Infectious Diseases Dr in Southern California) also recommends to reduce our salt/sodium intake. It can make our bodies crave to eat more food, even when we are full and don't need it.
Use intermittent fasting in conjunction with this hack. You will see a huge change in your body composition which can lead to less medication, feeling better and improved overall health ❤️
I have lost a few pounds in about a month by using the water + vinegar & the food order.I also do calves raise or move after meals. i always start my breakfast with vegetable, and it's also true you don't feel hungry for long time, I don't snack anymore. There are sometimes that I eat a lot, but I use water+vinegar and move a lot as much as I can, and I am keeping my weight. This information has been a great blessing for my life. I enjoy my meals, and I feel great. Thanks to the information learned on this video. I also enjoy watching her videos that you learn so much in a very simple and funny way.
I enjoyed reading your book 'Glucose Revolution'. It is well-written and easy to understand. I was diagnosed T2D but reversed it successfully one year ago. I am without medication since and my latest a1c is 4.9%. Nowadays, after reading your book, I am following the food order hack combined with moderate post-meal exercise. I normally do 30 squats. Alternatively, I walk up and down the stairs for 10 minutes. It has helped to maintain my glucose level steadily good. Thanks Jessie for your contribution🙏.
@alicekapolas3210 I quit sugar and anything that contains sugar; avoided white rice, bread, pasta, sweets; started eating barley grits, fox-tail millets, buckwheat, eggs and lots of vegetables; quit frequent snacking; made it a habit to walk at least 17000 steps everyday; ate my diner before 7:00 pm. In nutshell, I entirely quit sugary things, replaced high-carb food with low glycemic index foods, and walked after meal. I lost 19 pounds in 6 months. My a1c dropped from 9.9% to 6.2% in 3 months. in the next three months it was 5% and now it's 4.9% My diet is nearly same now. But I don't need to walk everyday. I am more watchful about the food that goes into my mouth. I realize that diet is more important. Lately, I am following the food order hack and post-meal exercise recommended by Jessie. It helps. That a1c at 6.5% puts you already in the red zone. Please cut carbs and sugars. Be harsh on the bad diets. For the triglycerides, it will get better with right diets and exercise. Insulin resistance, high blood pressure, elevated triglycerides and LDL often go together.
@alicekapolas3210 I quit sugary foods and drinks. Replaced starchy and high-carb food with veggies, meat, eggs, nuts, barley grits, fox-tail millet and buckwheat. I did a lot of walking: in the morning and after meals. I committed to cover at least 17000 steps everyday. I also quit frequent snacking. I ate my evening meals before 7:00 pm. I shed 20 pounds in 6 months: went from chubby to lean. My a1c dropped from 9.9% to 6.2% in 3 months, and to 5% later. Now it keeps juggling between 5.1% and 4.9%. I still follow that diet. But I don't walk regularly now. I didn't walk whole winter. I learnt that diet is more important than exercise. I recommend to modify your diet if it is high in sugar, starch and carb. It will also help your Triglycerides. It will take sometime to see the progress. But, if the changes in life-style and diet didn't help, it's better to speak to your doctor.
@alicekapolas3210 I quit sugary foods and drinks. My diets mostly included low-carb foods such as veggies, meat, eggs, nuts, barley grits, fox-tail millets and buckwheat. No rice, no potatoes, pasta, breads. In addition, I walked at least 17000 steps per day--in the morning and after each meal. I didn't eat anything after 7:00 pm. In 6 months I lost 9 kg. Healthy body weight can improve most of our bio-markers including triglycerides. Please eat healthy and stay active.
I am from Pakistan, and I follow all the ayurvedic rules this research has done been hundreds of years ago in ayurveda. But your videos are very helpful. Lots of love
Ok, I tried this today with great results. I ate a portion of sauerkraut then leftover chicken fajitas with flour tortillas and a lot of cheese. Normally, I would have needed a nap of at least 1 hour. Today, I was a bit tired but powered through it. Amazing. Thank you for sharing.
This is the first time to your channel and this video literally had me in tears of gratitude. I have a family history of diabetes and I can tell I have issues with my blood sugar--a plethora of issues--all the things you describe is what I feel. I've more or less cut sugar from my diet as much as I can but I always crave sugar and even a tiny sweet feels like it's doing massive damage. I'm always tired no matter how much sleep I get and I feel awful everyday. I was convinced that regardless of all the effort I make, I'm going to end up with diabetes and be stuck on medication and never be able to enjoy food just like you said but now I feel super hopeful. I've been doing the exact opposite of what the studies instruct. I eat my veggies dead last but I'm going to try the correct order and see how I feel. Thank you so much! I'm going to share big time.
Very interesting. When I lived in the South of France, for the main meals of the day - lunch and dinner - the items on the menu were presented separately. Typically, beginning with a green or tomato salad, crudités (mixed raw vegetables) or asparagus etc. with a vinaigrette, often followed by a cooked vegetable, such as petits pois, leeks, aubergines in tomato sauce, braised cabbage, spinach, lentils etc. Then protein in some form - meat, fish, egg, accompanied by something like potatoes or rice, the meal finishing with cheese and fruit. If the main part of the meal was something like pasta with a meat sauce, there would usually still be a salad to start with. Accompanied by a glass or two of wine, and freshly baked bread and finished with an espresso, for those who enjoyed their coffee. Then, of course, a short siesta and back to work. I don't think that this traditional way of presenting and eating a meal was based on scientific study, but it was just as much a part of the 'Mediterranean regime' as were the actual foods and overall preponderance of vegetables in the diet. I think that this way of eating may have been eroded somewhat over the past few decades, with changes in the working day and the move to a much shorter lunch break and also the fact that in two person households, both people often now work outside the home.

Beautiful, intelligent, charismatic, well articulated, pleasant and attractive young lady giving this lectures about nutrition!!!! This is another level, I did not miss any detail (for the record I am not talking about those eyes!!!! or that nose!!!! or that mesmerizing-fascinating smile!!!!). This approach is different, fresh and convincing, Thank you very much
This video is indeed revolutionary and explains everything so neatly! I’m a veggie-first person & thought lunch was a refuel session. Now I know why my teammates fall asleep after meals. 😮
Very good information, cabbage salad, easy easy! I prepare two servings of cabbage salad when having lunch, save one for dinner! Cabbage is the base then I add whatever greens I have in the fridge to it, add the dressing when serving! I buy one cabbage, shred every day, it last me five to six days. To make it your main course meal, just add two or three boiled eggs, or two scoops of egg salad, , Mackerel salad( prepared like tuna salad) or some protein.😋😋I lost over 25 pounds when I started my low carb diet, just having cabbage every day!that was 5 years ago!😋😂🏃🏽♂️🏃🏽♂️🏃🏽♂️☀️☀️☀️
That's a great routine, but do not do this if you have low thyroid or Hashimoto's disease; goitrogens (cabbage broccoli cauliflower kale, etc) need to be eaten only once in awhile, and always cooked, not raw, except for naturally fermented sauerkraut, etc. Just a warning for that specific crowd.
Thanks for this information. I’ve couple of questions to ask 1. What happens if you mix them together with carbs ? For example if you eat the vegetables + rice together ? 2. For breakfast, what’s the best way to maintain a healthy diet? Is it okay to have Tea + fruit and a slice of bread with jam? And what happens when you miss having your breakfast and just have tea with milk and bit of sugar. Does our body make more glucose if you don’t have your meals properly? I don’t eat much but I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I also faint all the time they draw blood. Does it impact ? How can someone who can only eat small portions/quantities have a good meal practice ? Thanks
I remember a scientist say to eat vegetables first, then to eat protein and fat and carbs last. i think he indicated this helpful for blood sugars and improves metabolic health. I have been trying to eat this way lately. Good information to know. Thank you.
Thank you so much. I am having my first success in over 2 years- weight down 7lbs and blood pressure down and glucose steady. ALSO thank you for your stunning clothes! So much fun and says you care😊You are a blessing!!! Kay
Very good. Thank you. To put a finer point on it., in order to get the most out of the "hack" you have to understand that there is soluble fiber, and insoluble fiber. You need BOTH in order to slow down that glucose absorption. The insoluble fiber acts as a sort of scaffolding and the soluble fiber fills in the gaps of the scaffolding. This is what helps create the barrier to the rapid absorption of glucose. You can easily google a list of foods with soluble and insoluble fiber to make sure that you have some of each.
About genetics: we often confound learned family habits with genetics. Eating badly is sth we often learn at home, and developing the same diseases as other family members thus stems from these shared behaviors, not genetics. Same goes for mental struggles or relationship issues etc. These patterns are transmitted. It´s a great thing to be the one who breaks the family curse by gaining awareness and changing to a more healthy and sustainable life 🙂. Merci Jesse
Yes I agree with you. This 'genetics' thing is only making things worse by confusing the facts. There has to be an outside factor that triggers the gene. Otherwise everyone with this gene or that gene would develop the issue it is supposed to develop and that is just not the case. The Outside Factor will only be isolated when the Researchers (the dummies) realize they need to look for it in their research.

I just saw you on Jay Shetty's TH-cam channel today. I appreciated and learned much from your willingness to share the hacks and helpful information. Unlike many, who say they have hacks but do not reveal them because information will remain a secret until you pay them or buy something. I want to thank you for your sincerity to help others with the healthy information. This was encouraging enough that it led me to by your book, Glucose Revolution, which Jay Shetty mentioned.
Thank you, though this will ne a big challenge. As an Asian, I've been eating all categories altogether. We have lots of one-dish savory meals where veggies and meat are already mixed, and rice or noodles are eaten together with them. It's going to be a whole cultural revolution with my family.
I'm Asian too. Usually we only eat rice, vegetables and meat in one meal and no junk food. We don’t need to change the way our parents have eaten for thousands of years. Today we start the same meal with 30% vegetables After eating the vegetables we can eat the mixture. If you have diabetes, eat less rice and eat it last. Fruit can make you feel satisfied and reduce cravings. It's important to have some activity between meals rather than snacking.
I am wondering the exact same thing. My husband is asian and we eat mixed vegetable with meat stir fry on top of rice for our meals most nights so I’m thinking how do we change this way of eating. If we need to eat the rice last then there is no point eating the rice at all, the it just won’t be the same.
@@melmil9836Now that we don't work in rice fields anymore, I use Jessie food order hacks and I use less soy sauce and salt when cooking, you won't need as much rice. Without rice, you'll have more energy and less hunger. Rice’s pure carbohydrates make you tired and lead to diabetes😅
Wow! Something that strikes me is that this "good order" of eating the food seems to line up rather well with what seems to me to be a traditional French way of eating! That is, beginning with a vegetable-based starter, continuing with a main coarse that might not necessarily be very rich in starch but could be for example meat and green beans, then after that having some cheese and bread, and lastly a sweet dessert. I've only lived in France for a few months as a student 20 years ago though, but maybe others here can tell me if I'm right or not?
Never had diabetes, and no health issues thank you Lord for that, grew up on soups, and I did have acne when I was a teenager, but I illuminated white sugar and dairy I cleared my acne without any additional cost
Thank you for the great cast. Let me add something important. No drinking while eating especially any juices. So eating actually starts off the hunger process if I don't eat anything for most of the day, it can be three or 4 pm before I actually need to eat. Thank you, Jessie.😍
Fun Fact: in Europe, especially the Mediteranian Countries, it is tradition and normal to eat a small salad before every heavy meal. You ordered pizza? you get a salad first. You ordered spagetti? salad first.
Same in Brazil, where I was born, but no so in Australia where I live. I asked a " true blue " why and the answer was that the hot food gets cold and the cold is already cold 😂😂😂. That sounds logical yet, unhealthy as it has been proved. I will resume my salad first to try outlive my ancestors who lived up to their late 80s in excellent condition. #eatsaladfirst 🌱🍃
@@p.alhadeffromrio I'm an Aussie - I always eat my hot veg first because it gets cold faster than the meat! But salad? The one catch to this study of eating food in the right order, is assuming that people include vegetables in their meals to begin with. However, most Americans don't include any vegetables in their meals from the start, which is why there's a great number of diabetics here.
This makes so many counterintuitive thoughts in the context of old school cook book order of foods and mixing. Also, you look so cool, attitude, how you present and explain! 😍 And the video production is good. Keep up the good work!
Thanks to the Glucose Revolution. I followed your hacks for 2 weeks and I already got my life back. Now I can eat what I want without worrying about my blood sugar level spike
In India, especially some communities focus on eating order and eating food that are compatible. We typically followed that order ages ago which made it easier for digestion and absorb the best from what we eat. Now, it has changed and most people don’t know it here as well.
I have been diabetic most of my life, suffer from gastroparesis, and this is by far the most thoughtful and comprehensive video I have ever seen on the interaction of glucose, food, and digestion.. Well done Glucose Goddess!
Wouldn’t this affect gastroparesis for the worse? Because by eating fiber (which we are told not to eat) it slows down the emptying process so we will be making the process even longer, am I understanding this wrong?
@@Amyscreativestudio Yes Amy, and if you are struggling with Sibo which I have also experienced, it also makes a difference. I think the the benefit of the study is to know the outcome of eating the vegetables first if you are able to tolerate doing that. I know for me, I have make changes or do things in moderation. Rich and satisfying flavor and full of probiotics. Then seafood, steak, or chicken with a drink of carbonated water and ACV. Maybe some tomato paste with spices with the protien. No sugars no starches. Good video Thanks
As a kid I was a foreign exchange student from the US to Thailand, and found the at-home diets there were always savory-leaning in the mornings - with sauteed veggies, fried eggs, and some type of spicy/curried meat served with white or white/brown/red rice mixes (I realize we see rice as a glucose-spiking carb, but the Thais can be slow and mindful with the amount of rice they actually eat overall). This diet gave the highest energy levels I'd ever had, and my excess weight just FELL off as a kid traveling SE Asia. Back in the states I am now painfully aware at how the go-to foods and dining habits of Americans lead to brain fog and a constant fight with low energy and irritability. One problem I've faced: friends complain if I prepare food like that of Thailand/Vietnam/Japan - especially at breakfast, often calling for sweet juices, pancakes, toast, etc. I personally wonder if many aren't ADDICTED to brain fog - meaning: Westerners like the heavy, lethargic "feel" they get after eating sweet junk back-to-back with meats and oils. Does anyone agree?

I've just discovered you and have your books on order, but while I wait, I have a few questions: 1. How do whole fruits and berries fit into this picture? Do you differentiate between fruits and berries, sweet fruits and tart, citrus, etc? Are they a carb, a fiber, to be eaten before, during, after, alone (some people believe that eating fruits at the end of a meal isn't good because they're quick digesting foods and it causes them to sit too long in the gut and basically rot while waiting for slower digesting foods to digest)? 2. What are your thoughts on pureed veggies (pureed soups, smoothies, etc; minimize, avoid; does mixing veg with fruits negate their positive attributes; does the pureeing causing too rapid absorption and hence don't get that "mesh" effect; a bad choice because it skips mastication and the important enzymes in the mouth that start the digestive process)? 3. Does seaweed (i.e., the snacks in little pouches, usually slow baked in oil) count as a veg starter? 4. What do you think about veggie powders, such as used to boost nutrition in smooties? Same issues as pureeing? 5. Is eating 1 small pickle or only a few olives enough to count as a veg starter? Are the saltiness of pickles and olives an issue and should be limited and additional non salty veggies used as a starter? 6. What about beans and nuts? Where do they best fit? Thanks in advance! Edit: 7. What about about breakfast? I understand it should be savory, but do we also need a veg starter for breakfast, or could we just add some veggies to it, for example to our eggs, such as in an omelet, for a similar effect? Is the veg starter only critical when were going to be eating carbs? Should we completely avoid carbs/sweets in the am, even after having our savory part of the meal? 8. Snacks? Just completely avoid or only have crudite, and is dipping in a healthy dip ok (hummus, greek yogurt based, etc)?
Veggies or salads with vinaigrette. She has also mentioned in other videos drinking vinegar mixed in water before a meal. Savory breakfast is based around high protein; I try not to eat anything sweet after, but if I do, it’s a piece of fruit. Eat fruits that are in season. Eat a fruit whole because it has good fiber. Smoothies however loses the fiber when you pulverize it…so you are basically drinking fructose/sugar. If it’s a smoothie you prefer, you will need to add a high protein with it…protein powder, plain yogurt…etc. Olives is considered a veggie. It can be eaten at the beginning of your meal. Nuts are in the protein/fats category. The hacks are to help you stay fuller longer without snacking. I eat 3 meals a day, but I make sure my meals fill me up. Sweets are my weakness; I eat that at the end of my meals in moderation 😂 She does have printouts in the description section to help us out…
Well I would imagine since she said orange juice is considered a sugar and to have it last a fruit would be the same. That would be my take on it that if you’re gonna eat fruit , eat it last. She said sweet stuff last period
*I've heard that oats, oatmeal, and oat milk are high starch carbs. These should be avoided unless used in small quantities eaten in order (with carbs) during your meal. *I've heard that "God packaged" fresh or frozen fruit is always preferred over "man processed" fruit juice (don't drink your calories), especially since juice has lost the fiber benefit, and most fruit juices contain added sugars or artificial sweetener. Water or unsweet tea are the best (no carb, no sweet) drinks. *Also, beans are a tricky subject. It seems that some beans are healthy veggies such as green beans. Some beans are healthy protein such as black beans and red/kidney beans (maybe). Still other beans are high starch such as chickpeas, navy beans, etc. My examples might not be accurate (I've just begun this journey of diabetes knowledge), but I'm certain that there are several types/categories for "beans". *Please add comments or correct my misunderstandings.
Hello Miss Jessie! I really loved the work you do ❤ You’re truly amazing and beautiful. Here in Japan we eat our food in the same order you teach people and maybe this is the reason why most Japanese are thin. I have one question.. what if I have fruits in my meal? Several years ago I heard from another study that fruits should be taken before meal and not after meal like most people have fruits for dessert. According to the study when fruits are eaten after meal the fruits are gonna spoil all the foods that you have eaten earlier. What’s your opinion about that? Hope you can enlighten me on this. Thank you so much! Your answer will be truly appreciated. Have a blessed day ❤
Hello! I know this question was directed towards Ms.Jessie but I read in various health books especially in Hiromi Shinya’s The Enzyme Factor that he discussed the reason why fruit should be consumed first before a meal is because that’s the best way to absorb all the nutrients from said fruit. Therefore, when you eat a meal before a fruit, your body is busy absorbing the nutrients from that meal instead of the fruit; usually that meal would take a few hours or so while fruits take an hour or less to digest. Hence, why Dr.Shinya suggested to have fruits 30-40 minutes before a meal! You basically give your body the chance to absorb more nutrients and enzymes that benefit your gut health! Now I can be wrong and Ms.Jessie may correct me if she ever come across this, but take it how you will! I hope my explanation made sense 😊
Yes, I started to watch your videos because I follow your glucose hacks since I'm 65 and I don't want to get diabetes. But now it has morphed into me subscribing and I wanting to watch just to see what you're wearing! Being a beautiful french girl, yes you are representing very well, but I started to wonder what you would wear when you didn't match the set colors. Today was the day for me. The green sweater with the turquoise flower appliques were just barely ok to me but when you paired with the turquoise pumps and black pencil skirt it made sense. Well done, so please keep on giving us great fashion, as well as great glucose hacks advice.
I’ve actually started adding a vegetable in my breakfast meal because of you! Thank you! 😊 I have lightly steamed veggies in my fridge at all times, to add to any meal, so it makes it easier to get them in.

@@anarkali_217 ... today's show is the essence of Jessie's scientific work and from 'eating in the right order' next to always drinking 'Apple Vinegar' first depends the whole success for each individual.
I don't think that can be said often enough.
Just take a look at some of the questions that are asked: They are constantly repeated and it's only logical that Jessie has to repeat 'this essence of her science' ... right?

Very Nice Glucose Revolution!

) with a history of PCOS. This is what i got in return:

My a1c dropped from 9.9% to 6.2% in 3 months. in the next three months it was 5% and now it's 4.9%
My diet is nearly same now.
@alicekapolas3210
I quit sugary foods and drinks.
I’ve always been curious- how does one take a nap after drinking espresso. I’m so wired but i love the idea! 😵💫
@@MilkTeaASMR cafeine kicks in 30 minutes later so you can take a little nap
It's not a Mediterranean way of eating, in Italy salad goes with the protein part of the meal. Pasta or rice first.
I learned to eat in that order, I.e. salad first, when I lived with a French family.

What a delightful surprise, finally I can avoid boring and monotonous lectures about this interesting and controversial topic........
Aw thank u I was wondering about sandwiches Now u explained it thank u
Good choice! Cabbage has also strong anti-cancer properties:)
This is an awesome tip! Thank you. ❤
Great tip thanks!
Oh! I thiught it was just kale i had to avoid! I love broccoli and cauliflower. 😢@@carlaeskelsen
Thanks for this information. I’ve couple of questions to ask
Kay
Hello can you please help me out. I want to know to take vinegar before every meal or just once a day? Ypur help will be greatly appreciated.
OMG....so glad I came across channel......❤
Very good.
Yes! So true! We’re encouraged to succumb to it and be perpetually under a doctor’s “care”.
@@judywilson5183 absolutely, Judy. When I look at the history of médecine, and at just how much the true healing powers that were known to humanity for millenia have been tempered with for profit, I find it more and more evident to take our health back into our own hands. I'm truly grateful for the many people, like Jessie, who present us with alternative approaches. I hope you and I and all the seekers out here find what really makes us healthy again 🤗
Exactly
I love you Jessie. since I saw your videos on TH-cam, I've been watching all your videos and I started doing the hacks I learned from you and I was so amazed because since I did your hacks, my body has changed a lot . I don't feel hungry, I'm very energetic throughout the day. I feel better. since I learned your hacks, I told myself that I will do this for life. Thank you so much. you are my angel ❤️❤️❤️
Agree 🎉
Today we start the same meal with 30% vegetables
After eating the vegetables we can eat the mixture.
Just add extra vegetables first. Simple.
Water at least half an hour before meal and never with food, just a little bit after to clean the trout and the esophagus. Also chewing well is a must to moisture each bite with enzymes. Meaningful eating for better health.
You’ve truly helped me understand how this works, despite my skepticism. I understand how a veggie starter is gonna be a game changer. Thank you!
Such an excellent video! I have been having constant cravings for food and feel tired/sleepy/hungry all day long. Tonight I ate my dinner in the right order and I am feeling content and not hungry for the first time ! I am beyond excited to know these hacks really work! Ty GG!!

Really great analogy/descriptive visuals!!!

13:35 - 13:56 carbs first
14:23 start w/veggies - fiber makes like a mesh net to slow glucose.

I bought the glucose goddess book about a year ago, I have read it and since then I have gone from being 130 kg down to between 70 and 75 kg. I did forget about the food order though, glad I watched this to remind me. I have also noticed, that once I eat, my stomach seems to wake up.
That why you are fit and have longevity!
But salad? I'll eat the hot meat first and then the salad - BUT - I don't eat bread/wraps/tortilla unless I consume it with my meat (e.g. a hamburger or a quesadilla). My blood sugars are very stable and don't spike.
Restaurants serve salad before the meal here too.
Europeans often have fruit for dessert. Sometimes cheese and fruit.(dressing your sugar with fat and protein)

I am so happy with your videos. Your recomendations have been very helpful to me and I no longer have cravings. I didn't think about food again, I feel so much better. I live in Bogota, Colombia. God bless you, you saved my life!!
The one catch to this study of eating food in the right order, is assuming that people include vegetables in their meals to begin with. However, most Americans don't include any vegetables in their meals from the start, which is why there's a great number of diabetics here.
It’s hard to find vegetables without pesticides.
Type 2 Diabetes has nothing to do with not eating vegetables. It has to do with eating processed foods, bad seed oils, sugars, refined carbs

You're a game changer. I don't how else to say it. But sincerely, thank you Jessie.
I am in the midst of GI testing so I am eating a very bland diet. The video just made a lot of sense and explained some of what I have experienced in the past. Veggies first, then protien, then carbs
Avoid sugar as one will but always eat sugars and carbs last.
Ive adopted the habit now of making kim chi or sour kraut along with sprouting beans and flavoring with oilive oil, homemade, mayonnaise, Mediterranean spices like garlic, oregano, basil. Rich and satisfying flavor and full of probiotics. Then seafood, steak, or chicken with a drink of carbonated water and ACV. Maybe some tomato paste with spices with the protien. No sugars no starches.
Good video

I'm going to print the hacks and post it in my room and on the refrigerator for every one to see. I am also sharing this to my friends. ❤
Does anyone agree?
this is by far one of the best videos ive ever seen on 13 years watching youtube

Oh My god , this is so intresting , i love your videos here from argentina , i eat very healthy , i don't have any sick issues , thanks god , i'm 61 , and i love learning all this new things from your food . Keep helping people , thanks You so much.
I've just discovered you and have your books on order, but while I wait, I have a few questions:
Very well written and asks the same questions I am wondering about.👍🏻
Veggies or salads with vinaigrette.
Sweets are my weakness; I eat that at the end of my meals in moderation 😂
She does have printouts in the description section to help us out…
Well I would imagine since she said orange juice is considered a sugar and to have it last a fruit would be the same. That would be my take on it that if you’re gonna eat fruit , eat it last. She said sweet stuff last period
Hi thanks for you videos. What cereals do you recommend. Weetbix and oats.
Best science topic for diabetis its logical ,simple to a layman. and easy to follow,.This will help alot of us who have type 2.

I've been using these hacks at home and I'm astonished at the difference it has made! Thank you!!!
I’ve actually started adding a vegetable in my breakfast meal because of you! Thank you! 😊
I have lightly steamed veggies in my fridge at all times, to add to any meal, so it makes it easier to get them in.
Nice tip, thank you. That might make the difference between being able to do this and not--for me, anyway.
Also, I think I'll keep a her of picked asparagus in the frig at all times, for emergency veg course, or pre-snack item! 😁
