The few times I tried to fly a drone, it was pretty much the opposite. "A 2D Guy Tries 3D and Fails".

Great video! Watching you glue the tires takes me back at least 15 years when I used to race nitro 1/8 scale! Gluing tires. Cutting foams. All kinda things to get them tires to perform!
Oh wow, I bet you have some great stories from back at that time. Today, everything is fairly easy just by ordering parts online. Back then, you'd have to figure out how to fix items yourself.
Oh yeah, there was 3 of us that raced religiously at a dirt track an hour away. I'm a mechanic by trade, so I loved setting up buggies and truggies for racing. The hobby is expensive nowadays. Back then, I had well over 2k invested in one racing truggy. Had to pray the local hobby shop had parts! I still remember modifying my airtronics m8 to work with spektrum when it first came out. 2.4ghz was a game changer back then.
I guess those are the kind of toys Ken Block kids recieve under the christmas tree every year.

Thanks Chasbro. At one time, many years ago, I only flew drones and on the bad weather days I couldn't do anything. All my friends drone cars and on cloudy, windy rainy days they drove, so I got into RC Cars and have never looked back (it is so much fun!)

Does it not have that system to help keep it driving straight? Usually there is a knob on the remote where the trims are to turn the sensitivity up or down it looks like you had it turned right down. Maybe get some better tires and make another video for a speed run.
Yes, but once wheel spin occurs it then is unable to fix it.

Ha ha... actually it was another RC Car.
The reason you can't drive it on your street is those pistol grip remotes... You should bind it to one of your awesome drone remotes and suddenly you will get smoother drifts and precision. Don't know why they even make these pistol grip remotes... they only look cool but as you can see the performance is just not there.

The problem is its a cheap Chinese remote. Bind a good Futaba pistol grip remote to it.
I get mines this Friday cannot wait to get it I also ordered extra wheels but this is the only video I’ve seen wer the tires r a problem

Love the review Steve. I've been thinking of buying the roller as I have a Traxxas X-Maxx 6s 1600kv motor and a Hobbywing Max-6 lying around for when my stock X-Maxx ESC goes... ummm 18 months later...
Must use good quality batteries (ie: Not Traxxas) lol Stock 8S ESC is still working wonderfully!! I also have the bluetooth module so it's had it's fair share of updates and my own tuning... (Highly recommended!!)
Best bit I have several sets of big 4S batteries that would work perfectly... Hmmmm also got a few Dumbo RC radios... just need a solid pair of servos... steering and for the brake module (Epic idea as these missiles really move at a huge rate of knots!!!)
For the RTR it's really better buying the Felony/Infraction by Arrma as at least it has parts support... and the price isn't that different... at least here in Aus. but I really hope ZD and Banggood get parts support happening.

Captain what would you say, which is the best electric RC Car overall and which is the best brand of RC cars according to you, no matter the price? Also, captain if you want the fastest RC car, check out the Traxxas xo-1, I'm sure you know about it but saying just in case. Captain if you don't mind please tell me what the package was, the suspense was killing me, so decided to ask you. Also, captain can't you change the tires?
I do have a pile of very popular RC cars event the XO-1. The best for a beginner, in my opinion, is the Traxxas Rustler VXL 4X4. Good price, very versatile and tough.
Wow! What a beauty of a car! Being the tires are what they are, it would be very cool to build a track like my sons use to have for their Hot Wheel cars; one with side rails so the car can’t fishtail too easily or spin out. Heck, you could even do the looped track like my boys use to play with! I’m not typically a car gal, but I love all your videos! Much love and respect from South, Coastal Texas! 🏡🌴 🏖 🌊

This is still part time for me as I have a full time day job. It takes years and years of videos and plenty of hard work in producing/editing videos before you have all the companies sending you big ticket items. But, like I tell everyone, give it a shot and see what happens.

I have some experience with such cars. KYOSHO INFERNO GT2 VE Dodge Demon 1/8 4S. Foam tires will give you more control.

Hahaha mate you're the best hahaha I love my basher toys and modifications is my favourite thing and watching my grandchildren play with them and I've got mavic mini and mini 2. I fitted mini 2 propellers to mavic mini and way more responsive and faster. Cut 1mm off bottom propellers hole and turn down mavic mini head of screw.

Gear change for higher speed and less torque will stop sliding some.
i wouldn't use the brakes unless the gear is metal as the plastic ones just tear the teeth apart,cool car tho and seems to be a ton of fun

Parts are incredibly difficult to get for this. Shame on you Captain dronefor showing something that takes Thirty or more days to receive the car. I'm still waiting 6 weeks later for a replacement parts. I've lost my respect for your Channel I realize you have so many subscribers it doesn't matter to you you're obviously into this channel for the money not the hobby.
Yes, I secretly work for ZD Racing and this is the ONLY RC car I have reviewed (darn if only I reviewed more of the ARRMS, TRAXXAS, LOSI Cars... oh wait, I have). Unfortunately everyone who reads your comment will have lost respect for you attacking me.
