They've just banned the playing of the National Anthem, they should be ashamed of themselves. They should not receive funding and those behind the ban should consider living somewhere else if they are not proud to be British.

I posted a comment on their LinkedIn site stating that any government funding should be removed from that uni because of their woke behaviour, removal of the national anthem is a complete disgrace! The comment went unanswered and was later removed

It does depend on the department bro. #TerryEagleton & Marx himself were about the only Marxists I was required to read to get an English degree in the early 90s. Things may have gotten worse since then. 😅 Happy 2025! (And Eagleton was in a #literarytheory option I chose, so not required for everyone)
