Was lucky to see Damage Plan, a couple of months before we lost Dime. I'll never forget how great him and Vinnie were live! Didn’t get to see Pantera, unfortunately. Ozzfest was cancelled that yr Pantera were on the bill, and i couldn't see them because of it. If this Pantera half tribute comes to Europe, I will see them. I think Zack and Charlie are doing a great job! And Rex and Phil sound great. Of course it's not the same, without Dime and Vinne. But at least we can hear these songs live!
Nice to see Zakk paying genuine homage to Dime. But no Randalls is a rough one. And, guitar players know - the gear is only a relatively small part of the story. Zakk still gonna sound like Zakk overall. Still, a cool thing for the entire group to do.
@@steve4321ableya I love Zakk and he’s a great guy, and if Dime was fired and Zakk replaced him then this would all be fine, but that’s not what this is, and as a tribute I was let down when I saw a couple shows. Sorry Zakk.
@@snapascrew I was very disappointed also. I was hearing Zakk play and sound like Zakk with zero feel and rhythm. Would have loved to see Dave Evangelista up there.
@@steve4321able I hate to say it because I love Zack Wylde but when Scott Ian has done love tributes he did way better imo but neither are anywhere close to dime him and his guitar Tech kat or big kat really had a good thing going
@alaskakathryn1 you are absolutely correct, but I think if you are going to do it right, he should be playing through a randall. He's already using dime's effects. Another thing I'd like to see zakk using is at least one Dean guitar that zakk used to play after dime's passing.

None of that equipment helped at all. There was no sharp attack and the tone wasn't even close. It sounded like Zakk the whole tour.
