what if you have more complicated numbering of figure like what you had at the beginning of the video e.g. Figure 1.1 Figure 1.2 Figure 2.3 Figure 4.1 , etc. Then I can find how to generate the list of figures in one time. Word will ask you to select each chapter figures separately Figure 1.1 (one time ) 2.1 (another time), etc. Any ideas?

A thesis has many sub-sections. How do you put those in the Tables? eg Figure 1.1 Fig 2.1 etc
