I just bought a new 2016 GT Premium MT. Same color as this one. This car is so fun to drive. I wasn't planning on buying one, but as soon as I started the engine and felt that Coyote come to life I was sold on this car. Traded my 13 Corolla in. I can't get over how much torque this engine has. I think my Corolla had 132hp. Quantum leap in power. I'm not used to being able to merge with traffic so fast and effortlessly. Especially even at lower RPMs because there's just so much torque.
your warranty wont be void unless it can be proven that the part you added is why the car broke down. as fas as cold air intake goes though... theres no real need for it other than sound, the stock air box was done really well. only thing that helps with a CAI is a tune, id save money and buy a good exhaust

Everything is just BAD ASS about it & one thing that I can really give props to Ford for since the introduction of this design is the higher quality that they've "ponied up" on-(I couldn't hold my self from it lol). I gotta say that this thing is a BIG BIG difference from prior years.

Just gave up my 2013 Infiniti G37 lease and I couldnt be happier. Got a Ruby Red GT w/ Performance pkg, looks awesome with the Black wheels and the Red metallic paint. Installed aftermarket 100% leather seat covers (red/black) and today put on the Roush Axle back exhaust. My favorite car I've ever driven. Bought it with 0% Labor day financing, and couldn't be happier. Problem is, haven't ridden the Harley in a month now, rather take the car ;)
I'll like to get a 2016 GT Performance pkg, but the traffic here in Atlanta sucks, and I don't know how it would be driving stick on heavy traffic everyday
I work at a Ford Dealership as a salesman and let me tell you, it is literally torture being surrounded by these cars all the time. Whenever a customer wants to test drive one I have a hard time getting out of the Driver's seat. I'm definitely going to get either this or a Focus ST.... I'll probably go with the ST to be honest because it's about 10-15k cheaper depending on the options and packages. But this car is a monster. Great review, you've earned yourself a new subscriber!

Awesome review! I have a GT with performance package on order and what has me worried is Ford's quality control regarding the Mustang. Case in point, stop the video at 6 seconds in. Notice the very poor hood alignment over the headlight? In this case, maybe just a few turns counter clockwise on the rubber hood stop would cause it to line up better!?
Owned 2 mustangs. Aside from the power trains themselves, both fell apart around 50K miles. You can’t build much of a car around that good a power train if you have to hit an affordable price point. Now a BMW owner.
I prefer the new 2016 Camaro SS, but for the money savings, I think I would have to go with the Mustang GT. It looks like you can get a Mustang GT under msrp for about $30k+/-. The Camaro is currently starting at $42k and not coming off yet. For the $12k difference, think I would go with the Mustang GT. Come on Chevy, get the prices down a bit.

I was just thinking... You know, I've owned a couple Fox body GTs - '82 and '87 and both of those had sunroof and t-top options. Both of mine had t-tops. They leaked a little bit but it was worth it to me. Anyway, I digress, Ford, listen up: I'm not going to buy a hatchback GT because you don't have a sunroof option. Why??? So, if I want open air, I have to upgrade to the convertible. Trust me, there are a lot of people who would love to see a sunroof on the standard GT.

I would wait a year. Right now they’re unfairly priced due to shortage of vehicles because of Covid. An old 2016 should be right around $26-28k but I guarantee you will find that they are all $35k and up.
I have a (hemi orange ) 2009 srt-8 challenger with a mopar cold air intake, line locks and a 2 step, with a flow master outlaw exhaust. 25,000 miles. I love the car and did some drag racing in it but some one made an offer on it and I'm considering on selling it. I'm looking at the new mustang gt, Camaro 2ss, or 6.4l scat pack challenger. It really hard to decide lol.
Paul Swaine Tough decision. I had a 300SRT8 before my 2016 5.0. You will have way more fun in the mustang. The car delivers power in a completely different manner. The weight savings do not go unnoticed. Then you have the awesome form factor backed by a plethora of mod options. Just go to a dealership and sit in one. Start it up. Sold me lol.
Instead of giving life to the old classic, designers have only mutated the real mustang with all those fancy funky features. How much ever they try to modify and revamp, the good old classic muscle car will be the actual car which will be always missed. I personally know so many folks who want to have their hands on the actual classic circular wooden steering wheel, feel the original dashboard, the original gear stick... the side scoops ...side exhaust and so on....

K&n filters don't. Not sure if the whole system does. For my cobalt it didn't.

keep in mind this dealer probably had regular octane in it. you werent getting all 435 hp

I would wait a year. Right now they’re unfairly priced due to shortage of vehicles because of Covid. An old 2016 should be right around $26-28k but I guarantee you will find that they are all $35k and up.
I have a (hemi orange ) 2009 srt-8 challenger with a mopar cold air intake, line locks and a 2 step, with a flow master outlaw exhaust. 25,000 miles. I love the car and did some drag racing in it but some one made an offer on it and I'm considering on selling it. I'm looking at the new mustang gt, Camaro 2ss, or 6.4l scat pack challenger. It really hard to decide lol.
Paul Swaine Tough decision. I had a 300SRT8 before my 2016 5.0. You will have way more fun in the mustang. The car delivers power in a completely different manner. The weight savings do not go unnoticed. Then you have the awesome form factor backed by a plethora of mod options. Just go to a dealership and sit in one. Start it up. Sold me lol.

+Shawn Dean You are correct actually, this one had a Ford Racing shift knob as well as exhaust and the sound was stellar!

Instead of giving life to the old classic, designers have only mutated the real mustang with all those fancy funky features.
How much ever they try to modify and revamp, the good old classic muscle car will be the actual car which will be always missed. I personally know so many folks who want to have their hands on the actual classic circular wooden steering wheel, feel the original dashboard, the original gear stick... the side scoops ...side exhaust and so on....

Cars are very expensive in Singapore but then again there is a trade of on everything. SIngapore has one of the greatest healthcare system ever made. And Singapore is an amazing country as well.
