IIEST is in between IIT and NIT. As you will find Integrated BTech + MTech and Integrated MTech + Phd Courses like IIT. IIT + IISc = IIEST. However IIEST is kept in NIT Status for Time being as it was under state control all other old reputed institute like Roorkee, IT-BHU, ISM was upgraded to IIT.
Regarding why I'd like to have this book: I've never been very open to handling money and finance. This book is already in my bucket list and I'd like to learn from it. Regarding feedback to the Channel: I don't think there's anything to criticize. So honest reviews about almost all the popular and underrated universities. Keep it up u help me a lot!
Single room hostels used to be available to 3rd year students, who are scoring top. For 4th year students, all were accommodated in single room hostels only.

This is my alma mater and I loved your video. Just one correction I would like to add is, in all probability it was the 2nd oldest engineering college. As initially the institute was founded (if not wrong in 1843, when the British set up the institute with a purpose of up-skilling) as a part of Hindu College. In 1856 the campus was shifted to the current location which was at the time campus of an institute named Bishop's College and was named Civil Engineering College, Calcutta. In 1921 the name was again changed to Bengal Engineering College then in 1992 it became a deemed university and changed its name to BEC Deemed University. 2004, when it became a full fledged institute it was rename once again to Bengal Engineering and Science University or BESU (which is what locals recognise it as till date). Finally in 2014 the institute control was overtaken by Central Govt from the West Bengal Govt and it became the IIEST everyone is interested in today. So now the question is: is it the campus that's the foundation of an institute? or is it the idea of up-skilling/education? However there's no doubt about the fact that we are serving the nation [ATLEAST] since 1856. And it truly is a green heaven. Again enjoyed your video a lot.

VIT shows manipulated stats a lot, IIEST has a lot of core engineering courses which are not placement oriented and also its a research heavy college , research culture at IIEST is at par with some IITs

Your videos are great in any terms but it will create a lot of audience if u add memes and funny jokes it will help to enhance channel growth . you can also work on eye tempting thumbnail too, but ig it dosent get much better though . When I got into this college in 2002 for Civil Engineering, the tuition fees were a mere 200 rupees a month. I had deposited Rs. 5000 DD at the time of JEE councelling and that was sufficient to cover my first year tuition fess along with caution deposit.
one thing i would like to point out is, it is an "INDIAN INSTITUTE" not "NATIONAL INSTITUTE" even though the admission is done through JEE MAINS but it enjoys the same status as IITs in terms of FUNDING and RECOGNITION. Also this college has mentored IITKGP in its early days, NIT Durgapur was born in its Campus and 4 current directors of IIT are graduates from this college.
