Tuition fees mentioned in the video, is not so high rather very very low here. In jadavpur university the fees structure for completing 4 years BE tends to 10k, and per semester fees is around 64 Rupees only. But, one exciting news is that in during this COVID period , the semester fees charged was Rs 0 😂.

I live in Kolkata Jadavpur is 5 KM away from my home. If you are coming for only Placement it's decent but if you want to enjoy your college life or do extra curricular or explore then I will recommend you try for IIT/NIT.

Not at all... Its faculties are better than all NITs/ few IITs also. In fact many of the IIT profs are alumni of Jadavpur. Its research facilities are also top notch.
Level of WBJEE is higher than that of JEE Main, at least in the mathematics and chemistry portions. I had sailed through JEE Main chemistry (105/120), but had struggled a lot in WBJEE both for chemistry and math, since the paper is more suited for students who studied in West Bengal board for Class XI-XII, whose mathematics is of a higher level than CBSE +2.
getting into jadavpur is extremely hard ill say that and also wbjee is not at all like jee mains. If you've done jee adv preparation , then only sit for wbjee otherwise its a horror show

Only the top 2-4% of students in WBJEE get the chance to study here. (civil had a closing of around 3k compared to 2k last year, that too, due to the covid delay). We did not participate in ARIIA Rankings and talking fo research you can check out the CWUR rankings yourself.

It is not correct to say, it is at par with JEE Advance, Advance is Advance, but it is more challenging than JEE Mains, level of questions is tougher than mains in maths and physics, and also more number of questions have to be solved in less time, after that, there is OMR marking.

In 2020 vacancy in JU was 30% and in 2021 will it cross 50% will rapidly decline of fresher acceptance?
